Some people just can’t be pleased.l just spent 30 minutes over there getting help about a truck that they knew they are not going to fix. They are great people.

POOR response 5/15/2018

I live in my 5th wheel, traveling the country to see our national parks. My 2015 Keystone Cougar was damaged and was towed to Perry Legend collision repair in Columbia Missouri early September 2017. I told Bill, the manager, that I live in this fifth-wheel and I needed it back as soon as possible. He told me he had to order parts from Keystone and it was causing a delay. National General Insurance company paid him for my repairs Oct 2017 instead of sending the check to me. In December 2017 I told Bill that I knew that he was not in a hurry to get my repairs done as he had already been paid and so he was just waiting for a slow time. His response was "it's just business". Once I filed a complaint with the South Dakota Department of Insurance, National General Insurance company then contacted bill. He lied and claimed that he could not get the parts in as he had to order them from Keystone. National General employee then verified that he could order the parts directly from the manufacturer and they would be overnighted. She demanded that he do so. Parts were ordered that day and arrive the following day. My rig was completed a week later. Because of their non-caring attitude and poor service, I was forced to expend thousands of dollars for lodging while my rigs sat in their lot for 5 months. These people obviously just care about the money that comes in and make a Big Show of caring for their customers, which they really do not. more

Worst Choice Possible 5/21/2012

I haven't even gotten my vehicle back from them and I absolutely hate the place. They tell you two weeks and it quickly turns in to four. They tell you the next day, five days later I'm still hearing "tomorrow" I want my car back. I had slight damage to the number and small suspension damage. All the parts for my car came in almost three weeks ago now. Every time I call they are rude, every person tells you something different, and they take forever. I am so unsatisfied with this place its not even funny. I've had repairs done many times from other places ans have never had this bad of an experience. more

What happend to Perry Legend Collision Center????? 10/14/2011

The short story is that Perry-Legend Collision Center Inc. painted my fender so dark that it didn't match the color of the rest of the vehicle. The painter, then, tried to cover his/her mistake by blending the hood but forgot to blend the bumper cover. Now one side of my vehicle is light gray due to aging and the other is dark gray. This wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the light gray bumper cover next to the dark gray fender. After pointing out the problem to the business owner, Bill, he refused to fix what is well known in the automotive repair industry as an “Appaloosa”. He claims that the work was acceptable to him and his staff. After picking up my vehicle I visited two reputable collision repair companies in Columbia, Missouri. The estimators, without me pointing out the painted fender, noticed the poor workmanship immediately. They both stated that this type of work would never leave their paint shops in this condition let alone their collision centers. I have had great work done by them in the past but this experience is unacceptable. Now I will have to pay twice as much to repair their mistake. Thanks for the headache Bill. Please consider this information before handing over your valuable vehicle to Perry-Legend Collision Center. more

Okay quality work, poor customer service. 3/2/2007

I've been to Perry Collision for two repair jobs now, and the result has been the same each time; they did a satisfactory job on the damage, but they didn't make me feel welcome or confident in them at all. I've taken my car there twice now, once for fixing a door when I got hit in a parking lot and once for a fender bender. The repairs came out okay (I say okay, not great, because when I close the door that I had fixed, it sounds rickety), but talking with the people was just unpleasant. Every time I came in to get estimates, set up appointments, etc., they made me feel like I was interrupting their day, they didn't help me to understand what needed to happen next to fix my car, and in general they were just not very clear or friendly. They didn't seem like they cared about talking to me, so why think that they even cared about doing a good repair job? Anyway, that's how I feel about them now. I should not have given them a second chance, and I plan on going somewhere else next time. more
