I went with my daughter (who just turned 18) to get her 1st tattoo at the Laughing Buddha. Everyone who works there was extremely friendly, supportive and easy-going. She picked the Laughing Buddha because my niece and one of her friends had good experiences there. When my daughter called to make the consultation appointment, she explained to the woman who answered the phone, the design she wanted to create, and was told Jerm was the artist for the job. We met him for the consult and he and my daughter worked together on the design. He asked a lot of questions and they looked at pictures on the web together to narrow down the idea. The next day we came for the actual tatoo. Jerm had made some sketches with different styles of the idea my daughter had given him. They finalized what looked very pretty (but couldn't express how lovely the final product would turn out!) and the tattooing began. Perhaps we were referred to Jerm because of his patience through what turned out to be a long process on a very intricate and multicolored masterpiece. This was my daughter's first tatoo and we had little idea what to expect. The first half hour went by easily but then it became increasingly painful. Jerm never faltered and never lost his cool. He was calm and professional throughout and the end product is amazingly beautiful! I realized afterward that he had undercharged my daughter by almost half, given how long it actually took. And the final product looks perfect, even though my daughter had a very hard time staying still and quiet by the end! Jerm is professional and very talented. I highly recommend him and the Laughing Buddha!
