I walked into this dealership with a sales add wanting to buy a new 2010 rogue , the saleperson took me to the vehicle in the paper , i took my family for a test drive , and really likd it
Now for the fun stuff , The sales paper said the car was on sale for $15,980(with rebates) ($1500 of which i didnt qualify for ) making the price $17,480 , and the sales add also said up to .9% financing available. When they give me payment quote, they say im getting the car for $19,800 at $360ish a month . I told them the price wasnt right and the spent 20 minutes discussing it and came back apologizing and dropped the price another $1500 or so ...
I was then told i couldnt get the rebates and the .9% financing (one or the other) . Which the sale add never said it was one or the other.
I was also putting $3000 down on this car aswell and was trying to get the note to under $250 a month.
After being there for almost 5 hours they lowest they would drop the note to was $286 a month.
When i told them No, i had my budget set and i wasnt going over $250 the sale rep started treating me like crap ( saying its only $30 more and your not making any sense - all with a bad attitude)
So i left the dealership very upset with the outcome of my visit.
About 30 minutes later i get a phone call from a financial rep saying they give me $267 a month , I told him id think about it but i was a little frustrated at the moment about the whole ordeal ,
He asked what my problem was , I told him if he didnt understand then not to worry about it.
In which he replied ,
"I dont care" and hung up on me!!
I was there for 5 hours with nothing to show for, Most of the cause being due to the fact that thier sales add was written poorly with alot of open ends. and the financial people were also jerks who apparently dont care about customers at all
