William Barnes is a dog trainer and the owner of Acme K9 Services. He is also certified through Pet Tech (pettech.net) to teach animal first aid courses: and this is how I met him. I took an all-day animal CPR class with him and was impressed with both his command of the material and the easy way in which he made it accessible to the class. For me, one-day courses rarely work. In this case, at the end of the day, I felt that I had the knowledge and resources (class text and other) to confront most situations that might require immediate attention before getting an animal to a vet. He talked a little about his philosophy for dog training -- one that uses positive reinforcement, not negative – and what he said about his clients and methods inspired my confidence. If I were ever to need a trainer I wouldn’t hesitate to call on him. I recommend him and Acme K9 for any and all of the services they offer.
