We read about this place on THIS SITE after wasting money for two decades in Fremont and Pleasanton (don't get me started) on mediocre food and service. What a pleasant surprise!...

I had been reccomended there by a friend. Sadly, this was the last time I would ever take advice from her ever again. She raved about how great and fresh it was, it was far from i...

Great sushi, excellent dining experience 10/10/2010

Been here a few weekends back and my friends and I love this place! They have the authentic and delicious sushi. Other Japanese dishes gets my vote as well, This has a great feel to it plus the staff were accommodating. Will be back again! more

Yummy Sushi 8/14/2005

Yuki is an authentic Japanese restaurant, and it shows. The sashimi is always a little more tender and the rice is always a little better seasoned. These little differences add up to a lot better restaurant. Since they’ve moved to a bigger location, the wait is not as bad as it used to be but expect a wait just the same. Also Yuki can be a bit pricey, but that’s usually typical for a Japanese restaurant. more

Yuki san's restaurant 8/5/2005

I had always dined there for jp cuisine before it got popular in Fremont. Why, I did not go there anymore because I had to move to other place. It is a small restaurant where provides a home atmosphere. Yuki is always in his store to make food for the customers even he is the owner of the restaurant. Perhaps I am trying to say you won’t see a bunch of trained labors hand molding the sushi. He has a real cool cook in the kitchen for hot dishes and another apprentice-cook, (clear my throat) my friend, to help him support his business due to increasing number of the customers. Yuki go to those fish port markets to select the varieties himself in very early mornings, so his sashimi/ sushi are always fresh. He always creates new types of flavors. I consider him as an artist type of cook. I was afraid of eating raw fish, but after the first try at Yuki, I was actually enjoying the true flavors of different fish and not worried the fishy odors. I guarantee you will have what you want in your mouths for every bite. If you feel the price is a bit high, that is because you only been to the chain stores. The quality and quantity of the dishes and services that Yuki offers are unforgettable. My favorites are the baby claim (sooo sweet), his spicy tuna roll (has his home made sauce poured) and …. … I should stop here and let you have a try there. more
