I pulled up city search to get the phone number because I had just left my droidx in the cab. While on hold with a dispatcher, whose name I don't know, I started reading the review most recently posted. You can imagine what I must have been thinking. When the dispatcher got back to me. I discovered that the driver was already in the hotel where I work looking for me. As someone who has worked in the service industry for all his life.....KUDOS to the entire Yellow cab team. This cab company is unprofessional from the African drivers all the way to the American dispatchers/supervisors. I left my iphone on the seat of my cab, immediately called the dispatch after I was dropped off, the cab driver said that he did in fact find my phone. The following day I called dispatch again to get directions and come pick up the phone, NOW the lady said no phone was found. I was told that I should keep up with my property, I can't trust foreigners, they get 10-15 calls a week on lost phones/items and the drivers NEVER turn them in, and that the cab driver personally own their vans so Yellow Cab is not responsible. Just got back from a ride to E. Nashville from the airport. Cab #68 was filthy inside and out, had NO WORKING SEATBELTS, they did not run the meter and then tried to charge us $30 when we know full well it's a $25 ride. I refused. Worse of all was that I just called to complain with the main office and the receptionist was EATING ON THE PHONE, there was no formal complaint process and I was left feeling like I was wasting my time. DO NOT USE THIS CAB COMPANY! We left our suitcase in a cab going from our hotel to the airport. We realized that our suitcase was left in the cab a few minutes after the cab dropped us off. We called the cab company immediately to annnounce that our suitcase had been left in a cab that just dropped people off at the airport. We even offered a reward for bringing our suitcase back to the airport. None of the cab drivers responded. We then spoke with the airport security who were able to provide us with the number of the cab who dropped us off by replaying the security tapes. We called the cab company several times and asked them to contact the driver. They were less than helpful and extremely rude every time we spoke with them. They told us that the driver denied every being at the airport. We never got our bag back! Yellow cab clearly employs thieves. more

Sunday April 4th, car #29 made an illegal U-Turn on West End Avenue, almost hitting the car we were traveling down West End Avenue in.
