Yaffe Ruden & Assoc Llp

I've been going to Dr. Yaffe for years so perhaps cannot give a truly subjective review, but I've always been satisfied by the level of care he gives. He is an incredibly busy and successful doctor so your time with him will be brief, but he gets to the point and makes sure you get what you need, whether it is a therapist, new diet, reference to a specialist, or time with other doctors in his office. He knows his patients well, remarkable for someone who must have thousands of patients. I also find him very down to earth - he will suggest the simple, less expensive treatment, before ordering a battery of tests. He has a great staff, although everyone seems overworked and harried - it is for this reason that I give his office 4 stars instead of 5. more

This factory line doctors' office is great for same day appointments. While I don't want them as my primary care because you can't really develop a relationship with one doctor, it's ideal for those days when you're sick as a dog and you can't get in to your regular doctor. Also, bring a book and be prepared to wait -- they soften the wait a bit with computers in the waiting room to surf the web. Ask before you go how late they're running -- usually it's at least an hour. more
