The program revolved from language classes to full time ""school"", except the owner Angelika has little experience as an educator or administrator and does not want parents involvement and advice. After we started attending the school specifically because we liked one teacher, we found out there are no emergency protocols or contact numbers. When we approached the owner, she said she would like to handle all the calls herself through her cell phone. However because there are different school locations and she is hardly on site we had to ask her to install a landline for emergency contact. We also asked that she draw up a emergency procedure for fire and earthquakes, and she said verbatim ""it's easy, we just meet at the ross' parking lot"" next door. We asked her to visit NAEYC website to familiarize herself with some basic daycare protocols and she's never heard of the organization and made excuses like ""we are a small and new daycare"".\r \r We stayed with the program because we like my child's teacher. Recently during drop off one day, Angelika tells us there will be a new teacher. Upon further inquiry, she says she is transferring my child's teacher to another location because of the expansion. I expressed that such a change should wait until end of school year and not suddenly. 5 days later at drop-off we realized she already transferred our child's teacher without any notices or transition. \r \r Inexperienced and unprofessional owner to say the least. there are no notices or communication to parents, lunch menu is only changed intermittently and when asked, no sign in/ sign out sheets or protocol. No access to the teachers since angelika wants to route all communications through her. So if your child tells you something and you want to ask the teacher (for example, my child came home one day with bright red nail polish) , I had to call angelika who wasn't there. more

Angelika and all the teachers have been truly amazing. We enrolled both \r our daughters, almost a year and a half ago, our youngest at 9 months ( where they\r made an exception by taking her so early - but now they even have a baby program), \r and the other at age 2 and a half. Worldspeak school has gone above and beyond\r the call of duty. They even extended their hours for me so that I can pick up our girls\r one hour later. They are so caring and nurturing and teach so much, whatever the \r language your child is enrolled in but also the basics of English and Math, as well \r as a whole variety of arts and crafts together with music and ballet.\r \r We switched our kids out of UCLA Bright Horizons after we realized after a curriculum\r night that my husband attended that they were not getting the basics that a preschool\r should provide. Playing in a sandbox and with water was what my husband came \r home stating was the curriculum that our girls had been learning when he had asked\r the staff. Even though we had not been happy with the care that UCLA Bright Horizons\r had been providing, we had kept them there thinking they were learning something, \r but after that evening\r I was on the hunt for a better preschool and what a world of difference we get with\r Worldspeak. Angelika and all the teachers are so caring, nurturing, kind and patient \r and they teach at every opportunity. They cook healthy fresh food daily for our children,\r and are always attentive to their needs. Both our children love Worldspeak school. I \r am often the last one to pick up my kids and they are always engaged with the \r teacher in some type of learning, a difference to UCLA Bright Horizons where they\r were cleaning the floor and leaving the baby to just roam around. \r \r I cannot recommend Worldspeak school highly enough. It is so important for parents\r to know that their children are being provided with a caring, nurturing environment \r where they can learn and their skills and personality can blossom and Worldspeak \r provides this. \r \r When looking to switch preschools I had read so many good reviews about \r Worldspeak that I thought they were too good to be true and here I am finding\r myself writing an excellent review. I would like to thank Worldspeak school and its\r teachers for all that they do and continue to do for my two girls. more

WorldSpeak is an awesome preschool! 9/21/2011

We absolutely love this school. Our daughter is enrolled part time and this school and she loves it as well. The exposure to multiple languages is great for helping her brain to develop and her English usage has totally blossomed. The staff is very friendly and the student to teacher ratio is great! This is our first child and we were very wary on where we wanted to send her and after touring various preschools in the area we fell in love with this one and knew right away that this is where we wanted her to be. more

We enjoy this school so much! :) 3/3/2011

This preschool program is for families interested in languages and those who like to be in multicultural environment. Children and families are very nice, and teachers are sweet and pleasant. My girl is 3.5 now and goes there for more then a year already. We love this school. more
