Williamsburg is a fantastic value for the money. My one bedroom apartment was very large, comparatively to other one bedroom's I've lived in. It has a balcony, ample parking space, it right next to the river and Linear Park Trail! I could not say enough good things about the location! I worked at the hospital, and the office staff seems flexible on rent specials depending on your employer. They were always polite and professional with me, although there are not many employees, so make sure you start off on the right foot. Any maintenance I needed (not much at all) was taken care of promptly. They were continually doing improvements while I was here (resealing the parking, re-roofing the units, landscaping, etc) so sometimes it is noisy. My only legitimate complaint would be that the water was turned off several times (more than a handful) because of plumbing problems. I worked 2nd shift, so it generally inconvenienced me more than my 9-5 neighbors. They also drafted another lease before I moved that increased my rent substantially. I'm sure I could have talked them down, and I would have stayed for a second year if I hadn't left the state, because it was a great value, safe and beautiful location, and overall pleasant experience. For the sake of full disclosure, I never used the community laundry room, nor did I use my in unit dishwasher, so I can't speak on the issues that the previous reviewer had. However, I hardly ever had a problem with the internet. It went out a few times, but for the majority of the time worked without a hitch.
