This guy is a piece of work. I wont go into detail but same modus operendi. The only option is court but my understanding that a criminal investigation is in the works due to his wifes passing and other questionable conduct from Mr. Verdoorn. I had a similar experience to the other reviewer. Mine has gone on for nearly 2 years now. Doesn't show up, doesn't return calls. Big Rip-Off artist! Small Claims Court is the only recourse. I must have called Phil 40-50 or more times. Only wish I had thought to check the business records on this guy. They apparently have a file several inches thick. Also goes by Blind Factory USA. Pros: NONE! Cons: Dishonest, does not return calls, does not show up for appointments, does not deliver product. more

This company does not even deserve a star! A bunch of crooks that run a scam! They were very speedy and friendly when asked to come to our house to give us an estimate. They said their blinds are made here in Oregon in their own shop, but we later found out from Phil himself that they are manufactured in Texas.\r \r We decided to go with them, because they did a great job with their presentation and promised us (verbally) that they could get the blinds made and installed in 2-3 weeks. They purposely did not put this estimated date on the receipt and contract. They required a 50% downpayment ($1,550 for us). The very next day, our bank called to let us know that someone was there to cash a check for $1,550. An 'alarm' went off in my head, but we decided to allow them to cash it. BIG mistake. Phil Verdoorn is the owner of this faulty business and is currently on the BAD list for the B B B. He has only returned two of our calls and has yet to deliver our blinds. We've requested our deposit back in full, but looks like we're going to have to take a loss. Not only is Phil Verdoorn on the ""BAD LIST"" on the local B B B his contractor's license has been expired and/or revoked for a year. All in all, this guy is a criminal and needs to face the consequences.\r \r WATCH OUT! DO NOT do business with this terrible company! I repeat, DO NOT do business with this company!!!
