Since I live just around the corner from Wei Ping, and I wanted to save time on laundry, I decided to try out their services. Do not be fooled by the cheerful greeting of the lady or her friendly banter. They quoted me prices of $6.50 for the first 8 pounds and $0.65 cents per pound thereafter.
Well, I dropped off 35 pounds of laundry and my bill came out to an incredible $39.65!!! They tacked on numerous previously undisclosed fees, which they are UNABLE to explain since they "couldn't find" the paper. There were $2 charges here and there, and basically I was forced to pay 65% more just to get my laundry back!!!!
In addition, some of my laundry was still dripping wet. To their credit, they folded the laundry nicely and got it back when they said they would. Even so, I cannot recommend this laundry place.
I am never using this service again.
