After 3 trips by 2 other contractors and with an estimate to the tune of $2500, to replace a compressor, a friend turned me on to Waychoffs. I called, they listened, and had Jason to my door in less than 3 hours. It took him less than 20 mins to tell me what 3 other guys couldn't, in 5 hours. A small rewire and a $200 part and its been working great for over 8 months. HONEST, quick, professional, cant say enough about these guys! more

I have paid for their annual service contract. They were here 12/08/12 to service my 2 units. Their website states Emergency Service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. When I turned on my heating unit downstairs last night it blew cold (air conditioned) air. Yes it was set to heat. The only way to get any heat was to turn it to emergency heat. I waited until 8:30 am to call (trying to be nice) and received a recording ""our office will be closed Sunday December 23rd until Tuesday December 25th for Christmas, please leave a message and all calls will be returned Wednesday morning.""\r \r I had a failure after their last service but did not post a message. I am now beyond frustrated and want to help others not have the same kind of experience. more

Great company, Great customer service. Called them during the holidays, everyone else was closed. They were out pretty quick, and had the system fixed pretty quick. I paid a 125.00 for some electrical part. Would reccomend them to anyone. more

Sorry I called them 12/10/2010

After paying $6500. for a top of the line Trane system, I was surprised to find it blowing warm air less than two years later. On a hot July day, Waychoff's was busy and could not come out to look at it until after 5pm. There was no special consideration for me just because I bought the system from them.\r Turns out the coils were leaking - a manufacturing defect. Waychoff's said: Pay for a diagnostic visit, then pay for another visit to install the new coils (only the parts were covered in the Trane warranty). And then pay $750 for an extended warranty because the coils will probably fail again.\r Also, when I bought the new system, I told them that I wanted the outside unit to be a lower profile than the old one, so I could see over it from the back porch. No problem, the salesman says. When I got home that day the new unit outside was a foot taller than the old one.\r Finally, Waychoff's price for an extended warranty was $100. higher than that of the other contractors. more

They'll be friendly and smile and take you for a ride.\r \r I thought I was doing a good thing by arranging for them to come out twice a year for a system checkup. In the spring trip, they talked me in to installing expensive surge protectors. Shame on me for being so gullible.\r \r Then in the fall trip, they found a bad capacitor. They charged me $195 for it. I found that the part has a retail price of $22.95 online...this is an incredible markup considering that they were already at my home and just had to take 10 minutes to install an inexpensive part.\r \r Altogether, I spent well over $500 this year on basic maintenance for my system. Again, shame on me for gullibility. But more shame on them for being snakes in the grass. more

Great Service!! 10/31/2008

Waychoff's Heating and Air is a great businees to deal with!! We had a failure in our outside compressor unit on a Sunday before a Monday holiday. Waychoff's was the only company we called that was able to come out that day. They troubleshot the problem and then came out the next day and installed a loaner A/C unit. They came back the next Tuesday and did a complete installation. We never felt pressured in any way. The installation was completed in one day and we love our new Trane A/C!! They were great to deal with!! more
