Worst Walgreens I have ever been 1/10/2012

I went to return a product with my 3 year old today. We waited for 10 min and still couldn't return the product. We ended up leaving without returning it. Upon our arrival, the store manager was called immediately. However, after 5 min of waiting, the store manager apparently took a call from somebody else in the backroom, so he couldn't come to the register... I asked the store clerk whether he was coming, and she replied ""oh, he is taking a call right now""... I would never go back to the store again for anything. more

Watch them for Fraud ""honest"" mistake, I don't think so.. 11/2/2008

Since this store opened a couple of years ago, we have had nothing but trouble from the pharmacy. I just opened a letter from my insurance and it shows a script for my spouse that she never picked up. This item was not one that couldn't be placed back on the shelf and therefore I call it Insurance fraud and am contacting the State attorney General over this.... We the citizens have to keep up on our statements from our carriers to keep this from happening. Now this action cost me nothing, so i may have over looked it but the store got 150 bucks from my insurance company for nothing.... that is fraud.. Pros: They are convinient Cons: The Pharmacy is running major fraud more

Worst pharamacy service I have ever encountered. 6/12/2008

This year I needed to get some prescriptions filled before I left for a 10-day business trip to Tucson. I was told I could pick them up the next day. When I arrived the next day to pick up my prescriptions I was told that one of the prescriptions couldn't be filled since it was too early, but that I could pick it up at any Walgreens in Tucson. Upon arrival in Tucson I visited a random Walgreens to get the prescription filled and was told that the store in Parkville had already billed my insurance company and that they would have to reverse the billing before they could sell it to me at the Tucson store. Keep in mind that they wouldn't give me the prescription in Parkville, but they went ahead an billed my insurance company anyway. I guess they wanted to be sure they got paid whether or not I got my prescription!\r Their customer service at the drive-up is erratic at best. There have been times when I needed an OTC vitamin and the clerk retrieved it for me from the open shelves. There have been other times when I have been told, ""we can't do that."" When the pharmacy manager was asked about that I was told, ""we don' do that,"" but when I told her that the other clerk/pharmacist told me, after I had gotten out of my car at the drive-through and come inside the store, ""sir, we could have gotten that for you"", she changed her store to, ""we don't normally do that.""\r Take my advice and go anywhere else. Pros: Drive up window. Cons: Failure to be helpful. more
