This year I needed to get some prescriptions filled before I left for a 10-day business trip to Tucson. I was told I could pick them up the next day. When I arrived the next day to pick up my prescriptions I was told that one of the prescriptions couldn't be filled since it was too early, but that I could pick it up at any Walgreens in Tucson. Upon arrival in Tucson I visited a random Walgreens to get the prescription filled and was told that the store in Parkville had already billed my insurance company and that they would have to reverse the billing before they could sell it to me at the Tucson store. Keep in mind that they wouldn't give me the prescription in Parkville, but they went ahead an billed my insurance company anyway. I guess they wanted to be sure they got paid whether or not I got my prescription!\r Their customer service at the drive-up is erratic at best. There have been times when I needed an OTC vitamin and the clerk retrieved it for me from the open shelves. There have been other times when I have been told, ""we can't do that."" When the pharmacy manager was asked about that I was told, ""we don' do that,"" but when I told her that the other clerk/pharmacist told me, after I had gotten out of my car at the drive-through and come inside the store, ""sir, we could have gotten that for you"", she changed her store to, ""we don't normally do that.""\r Take my advice and go anywhere else. Pros: Drive up window. Cons: Failure to be helpful.
