Verde Tea Expresso Bar

We tried this place yesterday and it was just delightful! There was a rush of people who also came in when we did so we had to wait a little longer for our tea but it was worth it and tasted very good. I love the way they decorated, it makes the place look very inviting from the minute you walk in. Employees are nice and prices are very reasonable! My only suggestion would be to go when they are less crowed. more

What I hate most about other pearl tea cafes in the area is how crowded they can be, and the infestation of wannabe suburban thugs lurking on the outskirts. This place is different. The more refined *majority Chinese* patrons here are infinitely more respectful, and can speak properly without dropping the "N" word and "F" bombs every other sentence. They don't spit all over the sidewalk, smoke bowls in public view, or crank up the JL Audio subs in their whips outside. That alone is enough to give this place at least 3 stars. The drinks themselves are decent. I wouldn't necessarily drive 100 miles specifically to this location, but if I'm in the area, it certainly quenches any cravings for tea. They also have "two-for-one" deals at various times during the day (usually off peak hours). The shop is rather large compared to your average. So large in fact, they have another section to the side selling various Chinese and Japanese knick-knacks. They have everything from traditional Chinese design handbags to Hello Kitty-like toys. Most of it appears to be Made in China knockoffs, but prices are extremely reasonable, almost to the point of giving them away for free. Lastly, if you are the type who enjoys studying and reading at tea shops like I do, this place should suit your needs. It's not too noisy, yet there is also plenty of eye candy to feast upon. more

Verde is a nice place to hang out at night. It is open late and keep your eye out for promotions, because they often have them. The interior is nicely done and it’s a good place to sit and chat. The only sticking point is as with most bubble tea places, the environment is almost wholly Asian. So you may have to second-guess taking your non-Asian friends, unless they’d feel comfortable chatting while Chinese music videos play in the background. more

This fairly typical bubble tea restaurant mostly attracted me because it's open later than most restaurants in Fremont, and thus is a popular hangout spot for local teenagers. The brightly lit interior make it an idea place to chat late into the night, and the prices aren't bad either - they recently had a buy one, get one free special for their bubble teas. Although the drinks are nothing special, it's a cute place to visit. more

When you walk into this hip joint, you notice the colorful, yet cool set up right away. they have a nice flat panel tv set bolted up high for your viewing pleasure as you sip on your tea. There's a few cushy chairs and table sets to sit down on. On the left of the tea shop, there's a display where they sell souveniers and snacks from asia. This place is good to take advantage of during their happy hours specials when most of the menu is buy one get one free. They have a variety of different drinks ranging from straight herbal tea to fruity, to slushies, to milk drinks. You can opt to add tapioca balls or not. The appetizers taste pretty good, they have tempura and fish snacks besides a few quick meal dishes like chicken combo. more
