In 2010/11 We used Val Moore Realty to rent our house in SW Huntsville and the tenant she placed in our house had a histroy of not paying his rent/bills, Val Moore's fabrications of the tenant?s good character and background to us were NOT true, AND she does not even bother to do a proper screening or credit check of the tenants. She knew this same tenant owed another of her clients for three months rent and yet she STILL moved this same tenant into our house. As our property manager she refused to start collecting late fees and even refused to start the eviction process as stated in the contract costing us an additional lost of four Months rent totally $6,000. She refused to turn over the security deposit & the nonrefundable deposit to us knowing the tenant owed us 7 months rent. She gave the deposit back to the tenant. We would not do business with Val Moore Realty again and suggest you really check out other property managers in Huntsville. Don't be fooled or it could cost you big more

In 2010/11 We had Val Moore realty handle renting our home in South Huntsville. This company does not bother running credit checks or background checks on tenants. The tenant that Val Moore Realty selected had a history of not paying the rent and Val Moore refused to charge the tenant any late fees for not paying their rent on time. Val Moore refused to help the owners(us) start the evication process after more than three months of not paying the rent. Overall we lost 7 months rent and it cost 100s of dollars to get the tenant out of our house. Do NOT make the same mistake we did. UPDATE OCT 2011 Val Moore Realty has moved this same tenant owing us $10,000 in unpaid rent into another Huntsville home under her control, need we say more? Pros: null Cons: null more
