After 5 years of service and faithfully paying my bills on time, I decided to upgrade to a smart phone. After 30 days of use, US Cellular decided to cut my service off with NO warning whatsoever and a ZERO balance due because they decided all of a sudden that they wanted to charge me a $400 deposit. After spending hours fixing their mishandling of their mistake, I had to give the phone back, get my old phone reactivated and come up with $400. I did all of that and they gave me a minimal ‘courtesy discount’. For two months after that, I went through 2 more billing headaches, spending hours of my time fixing more of their mistakes, although they never admitted to them. All I received was insincere apologies and they REFUSED to give me anymore discounts. And furthermore, they never reinstated all my belief points I lost after switching my service back. US Cellular claims to have the happiest customers in the business. A LIE. They have ‘belief points’. There is nothing to believe in. When my contract is up, I’m outta here. I don't blame the store...it's the corporation
