Fantastic place! It's been there since Prohibition, in the same family the whole time. Real neighborhood feel. The ambiance is amazing with everything original from 1940s. It'...

Worst

I have been going to this place for 5 years. The staff has changed, and the service is not the same. There are no more fun parties as the reviews states because Victoria is gone ...

Classic neighborhood bar 7/2/2002

It's not really a destination bar, but if you are in the neighborhood (say, having dinner at Jianna or N. Beach Restaurant), you won't be able to find a cooler spot for pre/post-dinner cocktails. Pros: Cool interior, Great location Cons: Not very roomy more

Couldn't be a cooler bar ! 6/29/2002

This little bar is really cool !! Friends and I went for drinks and found the bartenders to be best of game ! Polite, friendly, fun ! The music being played is eclectic, from oldies to techno. Absolutly the cleanest bar I've been in to ! The owners/managers seem to have preserved the antiquity that North Beach so richly deserves. Oh, did I mention the $2.00 draft beers we had !! more

Very relaxing 5/24/2002

This is a great after work bar. The woman bartender who is there in the afternoon seems to be very good at serving as many people as she possibly can, while still entertaining and socializing with regular customers, as well as new ones. The bar also has very laid back and friendly people who seem to be ""regulars"" at this place. Tony Nik's will always be my first choice when meeting friends after work for cocktails. Pros: great drinks, great prices more
