Amazing store can't go wrong 2/3/2012

I just wanted to let everyone know that I would only buy from Todd marcus birds exotic he is amazing he has vets call him for information he really has a love for birds I have bought 3 birds from Todd and he educated me on everything I needed to know to keep my babies healthy and he spent quite a long time with me I was so impressed with that I have been to many pet stores and they don't even know a thing about birds it brakes my heart they just sell them to make money they don't have the love that Todd has. Also his wife is amazing as well always so polite and helpful she seems to also take the time to make sure that the customer is educated before leaving the store I feel that is so important there are so many things people have to know about their bird many things can harm them even cooking pans not stick can kill your bird from the fumes nail polish ect .The store is always very clean and as many years as I have been buying from Todd Marcus he has had a lot of the same employees that really says a lot. Todd had also told me that when he was a young boy he rescued a wild bird and the bird and Todd bonded when he would ride his bike the bird would ride on Todd's shoulder once the bird healed it flew away he is really an amazing person and you don't find people like him I promise you will always get the best and healthiest bird I know that all 3 of my birds are amazing healthy and very happy if I ever deside to buy another bird in the future I will always buy from Todd Marcus Birds Exotic I really wanted to take the time to tell my experience I have had because I really feel they deserve it I buy all my food and vitamins from him so I am in the store all the time and every time I have always been treated like a queen please just remember that if someone sells you a bird and lets you walk out of there store without giving you some information then all they want is a sale and really don't care what happens to the bird and to me people like that should not be able to sell any type of animal Thanks Todd for all you have done for me and for really caring about what you do Kimberly Thompson more

Like others, we can?t say enough about this store, we drive from Staten Island NY we could go to other stores but not one stands in the same light as this one, they take there time let us ask questions and spend as much time with us as we needed. We have made several trips to the store to visit our new baby and every time the store and the staff are the same. I can see why so many people make the trip it is worth it!!! more

My new family 12/18/2011

Sue B\r Last week we went to Todd Marcus Birds Exotic to look for a new bird for our family, we were so impressed with the quality of the birds and how clean the store was!, everybody was so friendly and knowledgeable, they spent all the time we needed to go over all our questions and handle all the birds till we found the best bird for us, a Yellow shoulder Amazon. They gave us a great price with a cage and even paid our sales tax! You have to see this store to see how amazing it is and how you feel like family I would give them a 10 the best of the best!!! more

The best store ever! 12/7/2011

My wife and I looked hard and long for a bird that was just right for our family, we went to several stores and went on line and we were told to check out Todd Marcus Birds Exotic, and let me tell you, it was the best thing we could have done! The staff was very helpful and spent so much time with us in making the right choice for us. We now are the proud parents of a baby male Eclectus. Fantastic Bird Store 12/11/2010

I stopped by Todd Marcus's store today and was pleasantly surprised to see a store that is very open and very well lighted. Everywhere you look there are parrots. All the birds seem to have something to say, and all at the same time. I was watching the staff hand feeding their baby birds and never saw so many hungary feathered friends. They love to eat, and some are fed 3 times a day, until they are weaned off the formula and start eating seeds and pellets. I saw "Todd Marcus", the owner working really hard and talking with all his customers that have been coming to him for years, as I have done. Last week I was talking to "Kathy Marcus" and she too was very busy assisting her customers. They make you feel very welcome when you come to their store. I was glad to see that they are NOT charging the 7% sales tax during the month of December. That means more money in MY pocket. Simply the Best 11/16/2010

I have been going to Todd Marcus since they were in cinnaminson we purchased our love birds from them. Todd and his wife are such nice and helpful people. They care so very much about their birds and their customers. Our friend miss Debbie with the long black hair she is the greatest she greets my bird by her name as soon as we come in the door. Please always keep her as an employee she is one of the many reasons why we come to Todd Marcus. more

I have been buying birds from Todd and Kathy for almost 20 years now. I started when he was in a fish store in Cinnaminson, N.J. and then I continued buying birds from them when they moved to a larger store in a shopping center. Now they are in Delran, N.J. and have a very bright and airy store just off Rt.130 and Chester Ave. Over the years I have bought over 20 birds from them. Some of them were consignment birds and some of them babies. Every single one of them was in perfect health and the entire staff could not have been more helpful. They even try to match the right bird to the right owner. I have never found a store where they know more about birds and their feeding habits and the types of toys they enjoy. Their birds come from breeders that breed quality not quantity.Their prices are very fair and their selection of birds is excellent, along with their many choices of custom blend bird foods for specific birds. Todd Marcus Birds Exotic is Quality High Class Bird Store 10/17/2009

I have been buying birds and supplies from Todd Marcus for over 15 years. The quality of the birds he sells is excellent. He is not a mass producer of birds. His breeders are selected for quality birds. My consistently good experience with Todd and his staff has kept me coming back over the years. He has an excellent vet who visits the store routinely. You can't go wrong with a stable, good quality bird store. I recommend visiting Todd's before going to other local bird stores with glitter, hype, and mass produced birds for sale. more

Wonderful Store! Great People 3/20/2009

My husband and I have shopped at Birds Exotic for years. It is just like family there. The staff is knowledgeable, the place is clean and there is a great selection. We used to drive from outside Philadelphia several times a month for food, toys and just to visit. We bought several of our many birds from Todd and never felt any pressure to take home an unweaned baby. We also bought several rehomed birds from the store and rather than $$$ they had the best interest of the birds in mind, choosing to sell to a good home at a reduced price.We now live in North Carolina and miss the times we would spend with our"family" at Todd's. We still get all of our food from there.I would highly recommend shopping there! more

I can't thank you enough 10/5/2008

My expierence with this store is wonderful. I had a problem with a large bilrd dealer in Burlington, NJ who when I went to see my baby bird,, was gone. I was told by the owner that he was sick and shipped back to Florida. Never a phone call or anything, My bird was just gone. I am not going to go into any details about this greedy and obnoxious person but I would like to say that it lead me to Todd Marcus. He was given rave reviews by my avian vet and also alot of people I spoke to. After a altercation at the other store with the owner, it was a pleasure to speak to Mr. Marcus. I did buy my white capped pionus from him. His staff was great and understanding. I will be getting my baby (Remi) after he is weaned and bringing him home. Birds exotic is one of the best. They handle all their birds and they have great personalities. I have 2 birds of my own from birds exotic and they are the most loving birds that I could ever have. The employees are great and they always ask you if you need help. It gives you a feeling like you are family and I would recommend this store to everyone-100% of the time! more

Great store, Great staff 11/5/2007

I can't say enough good things about this store. The staff is completely helpful and knowledgeable. We never felt pressured to purchase just any bird. We were perfectly matched up according to what our desires were in owning a bird. We were steered away from any bird that may not be suitable around young children and could not be any happier with our new additions. WE CHOSE to bring them home still hand feeding after several in store demonstrations and 2 months of visits several times a week to make sure we were ready for the responsibility, and it was the right decision for us. Feeding time is so much fun and the bonding is wonderful. But if hand feeding is not for you, the staff will not push you to try. You take your bird home when You are ready. The staff is great, especially Todd, Lisa, Terry, Anthony, George, and Justin. I would definitely recommend Birds Exotic to new and experienced bird owners alike. more

thanks for my new children 7/8/2007

I can't speak high enough of Exotic Birds by Todd Marcus. Going into the store I found it to be very clean and the entire staff very nice and helpful. Not knowing anything about birds, the entire staff was so informative about the different types and their personalities. I now have three birds from Bird Exotic and they all are very healthy and lovable and I know it is from the great care they received from the staff. I would highly recommend this store to anyone wanting to add a new family member to their home. more

My Experiences with Todd Marcus 7/5/2007

I have been shopping at Todd Marcus for only 2 years but have never found the bad experiences that others have written about here. The staff are very knowledgeable of the birds they sell and always ready to help answer my questions. Todd's store in Cinaminson was a bit crowded but the new store is not. When we purchased our first Cockatoo, he was just a baby. We were given the choice of waiting till he was weaned or we could wean him ourselves. We opted for the latter and they taught us how to prepare the formula and how to feed the bird. To me that added to the whole experience and also helped to make a bond with him. As far as caring for their birds, I think that having the birds inside those glass rooms is a great idea. It not only protects the birds from the public, it also protects the little fingers of curious children from being bitten by a playful or frightened bird. Drive from Phila. 6/11/2007

My wife & I drive from Phila. to Birds Exotic. We have a Grey and they have been an immense help. They showed my wife how to feed the bird & as it grew they would discuss types of food with us. We've been coming to Birds Exotic for years & have come to know the owners & staff pretty well. They are knowledgeable and I trust them. more
