Try New Things 5/8/2008

Titan gave me the opportunity to try some new things on my clubs. I'm used to a standard grip and regular flex, but decided to test clubs with oversize grips and a senior flex since I am getting older. I must admit that I did like the way the clubs played, but the grips felt a little too large. They offered to regrip them for me, but it was bad timing as I was in the process of moving north for the summer. Pros: Will make changes to merchandise more

I see some other golfers have been given the free wedges, I received the free driver, and I hate to say it but I think I got the better deal. HECK! I love saying it ! The most expensive of all the clubs for free!? It looks great, but most guys don't really care how it looks, they care how it performs out on the course. I gained 15 yards, I still to the right a little, but I do that no matter what club I touch. These guys will even, at no cost to me, repair any of the clubs when I make good contact with a tree and snap that puppy. I am glad I did the test play and they have won a loyal customer from now on. more

Try New Clubs 4/29/2008

Titan gave me the opportunity to try new clubs. I've never used a hybrid before and don't particularly play my long irons very well. The 22 degree hybrid is very nice. I use it more than any other club and make awesome contact. I would recommend this club to anyone else who is looking to improve their long game. more

Pretty Impressed 4/24/2008

After testing Titan's clubs, I was pretty impressed. I could tell that the shafts were a bit longer than what I was using and adjusting to this was real easy. My stance and swing felt a lot more comfortable. I tried graphite on my irons and wish I had stayed with steel like the golf specialist suggested. more

Play Good Golf with an Original Look 4/23/2008

Your partners will notice that you're playing new clubs as soon as they see the blue color scheme. Then they'll notice again when you start your round. The woods and driver helped my long game, but I'm used to a blade style iron so I didn't see much improvement there. I have the woods and returned the irons. This was a nice program and the whole set is probably great for someone at a more amateur level than myself. Pros: Right shaft length helps to address ball correctly for best possible contact Cons: Irons seem to be geared towards amateurs and new golfers more

Play Better on any Course 4/22/2008

I live in Syracuse and we have a lot of tough courses in our area. I played with a couple guys that had Titan clubs and was very impressed by their game. I contacted Titan to see what they were all about and they hooked me up with a set and invited me to play a 4 ball tournament with them. We had a blast and played pretty well too. These custom built clubs have helped me to conquer a couple local courses that I hated playing before. more

More Distance 4/22/2008

Titan's 460cc driver added about 6-8 yards to my drive. Being an older person, I switched to a senior flex and it really helped straighten my ball out. I'll probably play these clubs until I can't play anymore. more

tx-2 irons 4/22/2008

my driver and woods are golden, but I did need new irons(my old set is 10 years old). So when I was offered a test on a new set I jumped on it. well the tx-2's line that was sent to me are really impressive. The look of the club grabbed my eye, How the played was what made me decide to keep them. I gain about ten yards and could finally put the ball were I wanted to on almost every shot. I would recommend these clubs to any golfer! more

Not only did I like the look of the irons, but they felt really good when making solid contact. I thought they were a steal at the price, and they gave me a 15% discount on top of that. Definitely worth it. more

The program I participated in was fair to me. The clubs were adequate but I have a new set so I returned them without issue. The various wedges that I got are handy to have. I let a couple friends swing them too and they seemed impressed. more

I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO HANG UP IF THEY CALL 4/21/2008

I may not be a lawyer, but if you value your time and money, STAY AWAY and/or HANG UP if they call you. If they do manage to keep you on the line, NEVER give them any credit card information!!! I would suggest that you record the conversation if you are able (make sure you do this within the law). I would suggest you get the direct number to the president of the company which is available through the local business complaint site of Upstate NY and check out how they have been rated over the last year. Funny how this crappy company has 60 some odd reviews on this website. Also funny how anyone who has posted positive about Titan has only reviewed one product, and that just happened to be Titan Custom Golf. Things do not add up. The person posting positive reviews for this company is much worse than a ""nut job."" They are ra t bastards. But I guess that is just how some people work. This is a scam, stay away. This guy that keeps calling the test a scam must have really misunderstood the test play or perhaps he has some mental issues...perhaps both. Anyway I did the test play and kept the woods and the driver and had no issue returning the clubs. My brother liked the looks of my set so he called Titan and did the test play too. At the end of his test he sent them all back, this is a legit deal. feel free to email me, I can tell you anything you want to know about my the test play. more

Nice Design 4/17/2008

The club design was pretty cool. I liked how deep the irons were. The woods were ok but I don't really play them much so I sent them back. They seemed to really be interested in my evaluation. It was a nice experience. more

returned my clubs 4/17/2008

I told the company after trying the clubs out that I liked them and that I played with them 4 times but they just didn't stand up to my old clubs. The company gave me a # that I put on the container they came in and ups came by the next day to return them. I don't get this guy that keeps putting posts up here stating the company is a scam. They treated me and my experience with the utmost respect. All I paid was shipping and handling and the company gave me a few free clubs for doing that. Sounds to me like the guy that keeps putting those ""scam"" posts up here is trying to run a scam on the company. more

they know golf 4/16/2008

I got the clubs and was really impressed with the way they looked, I couldn't wait to get out and play them. I got to be honest they took a few swings to get used to but after the 3rd hole...PAR! For me that hardly ever happens! not only was I hitting it farther but placing the ball were I wanted wasn't even an issue. At the 19th hole I added it all up and I took 7 strokes off my game! My only problem I had with the experience was that it took me a few calls till I could get someone on the phone and the only reason that was a problem is because I am central standard and they are on the east coast. In the end this was a great deal! more

I Added Distance 4/15/2008

The golf specialist that assisted me mentioned that their club designer had won some world long drive championships, and I can definitely see why. I added about 8 yards to my drive and like everything about the fairway woods. Titan gave me a nice discount on a product that I thought was already appropriately priced. Pros: Simple program, company will work with you Cons: Titan not local more

Clubs Play Great on Dry Courses 4/14/2008

Our courses down here are usually pretty dry and controlling the ball is key to a good round. Titan's irons allow me to make more solid shots and work the ball, even when I don't make the best contact. more
