We had an overall good experience with Tigerland in the infant and under 18 month rooms. They have the little ones room understaffed. They could not keep their stories straight on bruises that showed up. Looking back I sure wish I had taken signs seriously. In recent weeks our daughter would cry and throw a tantrum when taking her to that room. She would try to go back to the under 18 month room. They are currently below the state mandated number of 3 teachers there, and the kids are just running around wild. After seeing a bruise on her forehead Friday and now a bruise outside her eye on the following Monday we had had enough. They now claimed the bruise on Friday happened around 8am instead of 3:40PM when she is dropped off at 8:20AM anyway. They claimed the bruise today didn't happen there when we know without a doubt that it did. Nothing was documented. These aren't small bruises that go away in a couple of days. The staff in the room say a 3rd person was hired but has not started. Jane, the manager there, just tells you what you want to hear. She lied and said there were 3 people in the room all but for 15 minutes today. Obviously that is not the case. We will not be back to this place, and I would not recommend them to a friend. more

NEEDS 100 STARS!!!! 1/5/2012

Wish there were 100 stars to rate this daycare! Tigerland is a truly amazing daycare. Many of the staff members have been there FOREVER, and they love the kids. I have a 3 year old and a 15 month old there, and they love their teachers and friends. We love the structure and activities they plan for the kids. We also LOVE the annual Thanksgiving open house dinner. It is truly different than any other daycare around...we looked into other places. There is no price you can place on peace of mind while away from your children, knowing they are being educated, cared for, and loved. I have referred a family member there, and will continue to ""RECRUIT"" others to come! Hands down, THE best daycare....... more

Great Daycare 5/20/2011

When it was time for me to go back to work when my maternity leave was over I was very nervous about leaving my baby at a daycare. We chose TigerLand and have been very happy. We are very comfortable leaving our baby in their hands! They treat us like family and we feel like family! more

Best Day Care 2/21/2011

Tigerland has been caring for my children for over 13 years!! The staff is absolutely wonderful and creates a family atmosphere that I just don't believe we could find anywhere else. If your children must attend daycare, this is a great place to send them. more

Happy! Safe! Friendly! 2/21/2011

The facility is exceptionally clean and the staff is so professional. All Three of my boys have been taken care of by Tiger land. My oldest is in Jr high now. My younger two are picked up after school. They get help with homework if they need it. They have treated my boys like family! more

Excellent day care! 2/7/2011

Tiger Land has taken care of all three of my girls. The oldest is now a freshman in high school. The people here are like family to my girls. I have never had to worry about my girls when I dropped them off. They are all wonderful people and treat the children as if they were their own. more

Just like family 11/10/2010

Tigerland is an excellent daycare. I would never imagine putting my son anywhere different. I have a 5 month old son and when family members could no longer watch him, I thought only of Tigerland. I used to work at the daycare and I know how they operate. I know most of the staff and I know how much they are devoted to the best possible care of my child. The staff are amazing! They know my son by name and can always make him smile. They treat us just like family, and they feel like family to us. There are no words to express how much we appreciate having the piece of mind that comes from knowing how well our child is cared for, when we can't be there ourselves. more

Great Day Care 11/3/2010

(See Update below) Tiger land has been wonderful. My daughter is 10 months and have been there since she was six months. My husband and I researched most of the day cares in the Katy area and Tiger Land had one of the best rating. Once enrolling, we found the staff to be warm, inviting and they take great care of our daughter....we could not ask for more than that. It was hard putting my child in day care as I am very particular about what I want for her. more

Exceptional Care 10/28/2010

We have been at this daycare for almost 2 years. I feel the care given to my children is exceptional. Tiger Land has a wide variety of programs offered to the children, both in their curriculum and as additional activities. more

  • Tiger Land Child Care Center has been an integral part of the Katy community since 1984 and we now have many 2nd generation family members in attendance. Tiger Land has a special place in Katy as we have been a home-away-from-home for many of the current community leaders and Katy school age and college children. Former students drop by regularly to reminisce and see our School directors and teachers. Our Directors, Ms. Jane and Ms. Cheryl, both have been here more than 20 years and several other teachers have been at Tiger Land for more than 10+ years. 


    Tiger Land also has a special partnership with the Katy Independent School District's PPCD program. During each school year, approximately 16 children from Katy ISD's pre-school PPCD programs participate in our pre-school (3 year olds) and pre-kindergarten programs (4 year olds). Through this program, Tiger Land reaps significant benefits by working with the Katy ISD teachers and sharing learning tools, curriculum and other classroom materials to prepare the children for Kindergarten.



    Tiger Land provides child care services for children from six weeks through 12 years old.  We have several nursery classes for our youngest children.  Our 2 year old classrooms and older children use the Abeka curriculum.


    Tiger Land also provides before and after school transportation to many Katy Independent School Districts (KISD) elementary schools including King Elementary, Katy Elementary, WoodCreek Elementary, Winborne Elementary, and  Hutsell Elementary. TigerLand also provides transportation to several private schools including West Houston Charter School and Faith West Academy. 


    During the summer and school breaks (Winter & Spring Breaks), Tiger Land provides a fun-filled camp environment for children from 5-12 years old that includes field trips 2-3 times per week.

    • Infants: $180 per week

    • Toddlers: $160-$180 per week

    • Pre-School and Pre-K: $160 per week

    • School Age:  $50-$160 per week
