Wonderful Experience! 2/25/2012

I've shopped for many cars in my lifetime, and there are only 2 experiences that I have had that have been pleasurable, and dealing with Tom Edwards Chrysler Dodge Jeep was one of them. In fact, I'd say it was the best. Although I gotta say, dealing with Lakeland Volkswagen was quite awesome... especially since they sent me flowers. LOL! But what can you expect when you buy a Bug ;) more

5 star dealer for 5 star service 2/17/2012

I recently purchased a Dodge Magnum from Tom Edwards Dodge, over the internet, emails and phone calls. There were many communication points throughout this transaction. Every person I talked to at the dealership over the course of the purchase was knowledgeable about the car, the deal, the transaction, and was extremely helpful, and truthful. Every time anything needed to be communicated, they called me when they said they would call me, and had the information every time. They were hugely accommodating even on a used car purchase. They took extra pictures when asked, coordinated scheduling with my third party inspection company, they coordinated pickup by my transport company. These guys are a TOP NOTCH outfit. I can only wish my local dodge dealer could touch the level of service and competence I received dealing with Tom Edwards. I have a growing mopar collection and will be coming back to Tom Edwards for a 392 challenger in the coming years. Thanks guys! Mopar or No Car. more

I recently bought a new year end Dodge truck from Tom Edwards Chrysler Dodge and it was a great experience. I shopped the whole state from Orlando to Miami and ended up buying from Edwards Dodge even though they were over 100 miles away. more

Excellent Customer Service 1/18/2012

I would like to take this to tell you about your service personnel at the Bartow location. From the beginning of our service experience of purchasing a much needed vehicle in 2009 from sales associate Bruce Sadler to our current services visits has been nothing but pleasurable. There are many dealerships that you can purchase from , so good customer service plays an important part. I would like for you to please recognize the following persons who took so great care of us. We shopped at several area dealers for a new SUV. We finally settled on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Bruce Sadler, at Tom Edwards, offered a slightly better deal and his desire to help us find the right vehicle caused us to buy from him We haven't had the vehicle long enough to need service but we expect a good experience. The whole operation appears to be very professional and well organized. They made the purchase a pleasant experience. more

Safe place to buy a vehichle 12/10/2011

I purchased a Town and Country van from Tom Edwards and it has been a wonderful experience. The salesman Bruce was very helpful and the service department has done my oil changes in a very convenient timely manner. Buy your vehicle here and buy An American made good product. more

Tried to buy a car today. 11/14/2011

I found a great car for a very good and fair price so we began to put the deal together when the sales person came back and told me the payments would be 260 on a 10000 car for 60 months. I asked them to extend to 72 months since my interest was at 3.49 it still only cost me less then 400 in interest for the loan term. So they came back at 198.00. I worked in finance 13 years and handled thousands on contracts....the most the payment should have been was around 148.00. So No deal...I will keep looking some where else. Also the car fax said the car is white with grey interior. The car I wanted to buy is white and beige interior. Wonder what that means. Plus the vin number was no where i could find on the car fax just a title number? more

great service... I'm welcomed there 10/5/2011

As a recent transplant to the Lakeland area, after spending most of my life in California, one of the first questions I began asking was where can I find a car dealership I can trust? Naturally, I got a number of answers, but I was also warned away from several of those same recommended dealerships by others. With one notable exception. Every time someone mentioned Tom Edwards, it was in a positive way. Some of the people remarked at how they were second and third generation customers there. So I decided to give them a try, and I haven't been sorry. In my 64 years I've dealt with a lot of dealerships, both good and bad, and I know the difference. I assure you my car has found a home at Tom Edwards service department, and it's where I'll go when it comes time to buy a new car. more

Change of Address 10/2/2011

Santa Claus no longer lives at the North Pole - he has moved to 1425 W. Main St, Bartow, FL. I won't go into detail, but I will say, thanks to a LOT of willing co-conspritors at Tom Edwards, our family's Christmas was one of the best ever. It involved a lot of secrecy from everyone at the dealership, and required several of them to adjust their normal procedures to make magic happen - and happen it did. So when you're sending your letters to Santa next year, instead of sending them to the North Pole, and having them returned because the resident has moved, just send them to Santa Edwards, in care of Tom Edwards in Bartow, FL, where NO ONE is naughty - just nice. more

Unexpected Help 10/1/2011

I was broke down on the side of the road just south of Lakeland and a man stopped to help. He helped me get my vehicle started by checking some connections on the engine. Turns out he works for Tom Edwards Chrysler in Bartow so I followed him back to the Service Dept there and they checked a few more things and said everything looked ok. more

Tom Edwards is truly a family run and family orienated place of business. From the employee's to the people who simply stop in and ask direcitons their staff there treat everyone with such respect and kindness!! They truly know what it means to have customer service!!! I have visited both their sales and service departments numerous times over the years and have nothing but good things to say!!! Even when things to pan out perfectly they are always quick to explain everything fully so I can make the best decision possible!!! I will continue to do business with these folks. more

BEST SERVICE EVER 9/28/2011

I have a 2010 Dodge Ram that I bought from Tom Edwards and I wanted to share my awsome experience with their service department. Those guys in the shop really do a good job of checking everything from the transmission to my engine when I bring it in for service. They even check even my tire presure. Chris on the service drive told me they have a mechanic that's worked there for 20 years and has lots of experiance with Chrysler and Dodge automobils. It's also nice when I pick it up to see the price is exactly as I was told when I dropped it off. It's always washed and clean too. I would trust them to do any and all the work it might need. I love my truck and so does my dog. I have been to other dealerships for service and after taking my truck in at Tom Edwards, I wouldn't think of going any place else. They make my life so much easier to not have one more thing to worry about. Thanks Tom Edwards and all your staff. more

Np pressure, straight talk 9/26/2011

I have bought 5 cars from Tom Edwards over the years and have been very happy with their sales and service department. When I go to this store it is always easy. They do not have a crowd of sales people or aggressive service order people trying to sell me a bunch of stuff. What I really like about service is that if a service is due in my owners manual, they let me know in advance so I can budget for it. That really helps! The prices are good, I only pay $15 per oil change and still get great service. more

Bartow's Best car dealership 7/23/2011

We have already bought 2 vehicles from Tom Edwards and have been very satified with both purchases. The empoyee's, sales people, service department and everyone who works here are all great. They are very considerate even when they know that you are not looking to buy right now, they will try to help you in whatever way they can. We are going to be buying our next vehicle from them. more
