Mike T was professional and courteous. He was very knowledgeable and made very helpful recommendations concerning the care and upkeep of our HVAC system. He also identified a problem with our heat pump, fixed it and made recommendations regarding possible problems to watch for in the future as our HVAC unit ages. Thompson's doesn't give Active Duty or Veteran discounts on their services. Almost all their signs have some kind of tribute to the military, that's great, but you would guess they might give a small discount to the military customer. They said their prices are already low and that they give a donation at the end of the year. They may give great service, but I'll never know. more

New Central Air Conditioning Unit 8/25/2012

After arriving at our home to investigate an inoperative Central Air Conditioning Unit--Jake did a great job explaining the problem, the cost of simply reairing (and keeping our 14-year old system) versus upgrading to a newer unit.\r \r We replaced an 8 SEER unit with a 16 SEER model. Consideration was given to annual energy usage, warranty and rebates. We expect to recoup our investment in UNDER 3-yrs time based on projected energy savings alone.\r \r Work with someone you trust to understand the technical, operational and energy related benefits. more

Josh Battele was sent out by Thompson to look at our A/C. He found the trouble right away and, this was unexpected, found an option that didn't cost me anything but got the A/C up and running again. While he waited to make sure things were right he played ball with my dog. Clean, thorough, efficient and at little to no cost. I likeee very much. more
