This place is FAR pricier than the other places in the neighborhood. $20 a person is absurd. Go to Duets and pay $5 a person, or go to Japas and spend $30 and get unlimited alcohol. Really not worth the price, and also has a limited song list. Would never go back. Cons: way more than you need to spend more

Just went here last night for a bday party for myself and a friend. We walked out very dissapointed. The bigggest problem was the song list. I don't think it has been updated in about 3 years. I am not the type of person to be very picky either. I mean billy joel...uptown girl? Really? And nothing too modern in the song books at all. I was searching for song after song, only to be dissapointed and find nothing at all. We had a group of 18 of us in there and this sadly seemed to be the theme of the evening....Oh I have a great song I wanna sing!....oh they don't have it =( I will say that this is BY FAR the worst selection of songs I have seen in the city. Also almost everythign was in Korean too. The remote control for the Karaoke machine was in all Korean. If you do a lot of karaoke ( I do ), you might have experienced this before...but usually there is a lot an english explanation for the remote! no such luck here folks. The room also was supposed to hold 20/25, but w/ 18 of us in there we were cramped. I can't really hold this too much against them though as that has been my experience at any karaoke place. BUT the room was easily 100 degrees and there was NO A/C in the room! I mean in the middle of the summer in NYC, I'm sorry but that is just insane. We asked them 10 times about the A/C and begged them...even tried to bribe them....to put the A/C on. They claimed it was on, but that it had to go to all the rooms. We held out hands the vents, NO air coming out. To add to all of this, this was the most expensive place I've ever been to. All in all a pretty dissapointing experience. Me and my entire group will never be returning to this joint. Especially when there's a million more, even in Korea town to go to. I will say that if you are Korean (and can read/write Korean) you might enjoy this place sliiiiightly more, because their korean song selection was better. Hope this helps...happy singing! went here with about 15 friends, and the rooms were big enough so we weren't TOO cramped. they have a huge song selection, so everyone gets a chance to belt out their favorites. the lights were really cool, and took people out of their comfort zone and warm up to singing (sometimes badly) i would definitely come back here. the ONLY downside: - they might need to adjust their mics so they're both the same volume (it might've been due to batteries, who knows) Pros: atmosphere, good price, song selection, location Cons: mic volume? more

I had such a great time at Wow karaoke. They have a great selection of music, and the sound systems are very good. Definitely the classiest karaoke place I have seen, the rooms have a nice feel to them. The staff there was great-very friendly, and they kept the drinks coming. Oh-and the food is amazing. Wow is the best karaoke I've been to in NYC. It has a variety of selections on new-released songs. The lighting and the sounds are great. Very clean and pretty settings. The location is great; easy to get to from anywhere in NYC. Very friendly workers. Pros: Service, Great selection of Songs, Cleanliness. Cons: No english letters on the remote controls. more

I have done A LOT of karaoke and it's safe to say I've never had this kind of experience in a karaoke bar! The private room was great fun and had a nice view over Korea Town. The music selection was broad and up-to-date and available in English and Korean. The rooms are comfortable and glam and had cool lighting and great equipment which was easy to use and sounded great! I had such a fun night there singing with my friends. Easy to get to on public transportation and the food was great too! I recommend the spicy chicken wings! Thanks Wow! I'll be back! I love this place.. I often go there with my friends they are from other countries. Especially, i like room that with large windows for VIP. i can see the korean town street and nice view. There have really good karaoke system, lighting and smog. They also have membership service. So you will get point and use for free hours^^ . I love FREE!!. If u want to become a member then ask membership when u get there. guys. have fun at this karaoke with ur frs. : ) Pros: Really Clean, Good karaoke system and service. OK so I can't sing, and it's too embarrassing to go to an open mic type of thing.. This is the best alternative! AI got "kidnapped" into going and while I fought it at first... since you're in a room with your close friends, it just didn't matter in the end. Once I had a couple of drinks and sang along with a few other songs, I was ready to give it a go on my own. It's definitely addicting, and the more you practice, the better you get. I'll be back for more soon! Pros: really clean and the decor is pretty unique... food and drinks were good too... Cons: really busy, but worth the wait more

I was looking for a place for my friends's b-day party, thought that a private room would be good for a party. It was a good decision to go to wow. We could sing for the b-day girl, dance all together without any distraction. And the place was very clean and fancy which worked for my girls. Our next b-day party will be Wow again. more

Never again will I stand on a stage in front of mostly strangers in a crowded bar belting out off-key-notes. Now when I sing out of key, I will be in front of familiar faces, sipping cocktails in a private room and actually enjoying myself. The sound system and flat screen TV's were more than I ever expected. Pretty incredible is how I will sum up my first experience in a venue that is all about Karaoke. Time to e-vite my facebook friends and get the party started! Pros: Private Rooms, Incredible Sound System, Friendly Staff, and Drinks!!! more
