Westwood locatiion THE WORST 8/13/2009

This (Westwood) location has a EMPTY parking lot. Lots of spaces and nobody in a single one of them, but the staff that works there. I parked there and bought a drink. I had an appointment with a nutritionist across the street to find out what items to buy at their store. They refused to let me park in their lot and made me park at a meter while their lot remained empty. I had no quarters so asked if they could add 1$ to my credit card. They said no. I got a $50 parking ticket for their poor costumer service and they lost my service FOREVER. This group of employees has no concept of how to retain customers. Pros: location Cons: The petty small mindedness of its manager and employees more

National online and retail chain sells everything from vitamin supplements and herbal remedies to diet products and low-carb snack bars. Health nuts will love the store's selection of hard-to-find goodies, including an assortment of bath and beauty products. Order online or purchase products in the store and accumulate frequent buyer points toward an annual discount. more

Editorial review from Insider Pages 2/7/2005

With some time to kill before meeting some friends over at the Grove, I bopped into this Vitamin Shoppe to pick up my 6-month mult-vitamin supply and check out some new products. The store itself is pretty functional and is divided up by desired results (eg: More Energy, Mood Enhancement, General Health) so youc an find your product fairly easily. The store employees though were a bit surly and not very helpful. When I bought a product that appeared to have the safety seal missing, I was told my one worker that it just appeared that way and there was nothing wrong with the bottle. Rather than re-assuring me, this guy's defensive tone made me lose confidence in the product and probably resulted in my not returning to this store. more
