Kristen have given me 3 facials and has shown tremendous improvement with each one. She was GREAT to start with, so it is impressive to see her growth.

Partial Highlight Jan 2012 1/6/2012

Naomi did a great job... The color was exacting what I wanted, though it did take longer than I anticipated. Normally, my partial highlights take two and a half hours and this one took over three. Other than that, it was a good experience! more

Terrible haircut 1/5/2012

Recently got a haircut and color. Color was fine; haircut was terrible. Haircut was very uneven on the bottom. I had pieces near my neck that were 1.5 inches longer than the rest of my hair, on both sides. Instucter did not catch this very obvious problem. I had to go and get another haircut the next day. I will not be going back. more

Fantastic Facial 1/3/2012

I love the new location. I was warmly greeted when I entered and was directed to the 2nd floor where I was welcomed and offered tea. The atmosphere is much more like a spa than a school. Olivia E. was the person who gave me my facial which was exceptional. She is skilled and knowledgeable and was very positive and explained the process very well. I felt pampered,relaxed and very glad I came. I left feeling fantastic. more

Rae is Great 1/1/2012

I had my hair died for the first time ever. Rae did s terrific job of blending the colors to match my original hair color - including my beard. I would recommend her to anyone! more

Awesome Services! 12/31/2011

I experienced the 45 minute facial and it was just awesome! It was very relaxing and refreshing. I have been going to the Institute of Beauty and Wellness for a long time now and have not been disappointed! They are always offering great deals that can fit any budget! Keep up the great work! I will be back! more

Love the atmosphere here and the people are very polite and welcoming. For the price you get so much attention and its comforting knowing the students on the floor are very confident and have such high standards that I trust the quality of their work. more

Hair Correction 12/20/2011

The student did excellent and the instructors were involved with only the verification. Only downside is the instructors switched throughout process. Would have been nice to have one consistent voice. more

Bad BANGS 12/20/2011

My first time @ the salon. I knew students were going to chop of my hair but honestly didn't expect to be their second client. my cut was pretty good, just one thing... I never had to stand up and have the length of my hair cut.. That was a first. I was very worried when my stylist chop my bangs the opposite way and a huge chunk fell off when I was hoping for a side swipe... I about cried. I know she didn't mean to but there was no going back... Thanks to Ms Catherine S to save what was left of it. Otherwise my boyfriend had suggested we could burn it off.. Just kidding. Thanks for the experience and work hard. more

I've had better 12/17/2011

Usually the students are very generous with the hand massages, shampoo massage, tea, etc. this last time was lame. The student didn't offer tea, or a hand massage and when she rinsed my hair color out it was like my 4 year old son was washing my hair. I kept waiting for her to really wash my hair. I went on a thursday night and barely anyone was there. The supervision was lame and the student's performance was below par. more

I love going to Aveda! I have never had a bad experience there. They always great you with a smile and have excellent service. I am in college and it is great to know that I can get quality treatments for a reasonable price! I would recommend it to anyone! more

Jenny did a great job! She did a partial highlight and knew exactly what I wanted. She worked quickly but still did quality work! I enjoyed talking with her and she made the time go by fast. I would recommend her to any of my friends! Thanks again Jenny! more

Cut/Color 12/15/2011

This is my second visit with Felicia. She does excellent work & is beyond pleasant. I absolutely love my color and although my cut is rather simple I love to hear her input on style. Looking fwd to my next visit in December for a botanical treatment which she recommended for the health of my hair, esp for the winter months ahead. more
