In a word: disappointing. more

This place sucked!!\r I was stuck in a rainstorm & couldn't sit where I wanted to as I'm single! Only couples could sit at bigger tables! Service was horrible!! I waited 10 mins & left!!! more

The food was great. $13 for a Bloody Mary single shot was not a value at all. The service was slow. more

Average food. Cajun omelet was tasty, but very watery. Sourdough toast was flavorless. Does not overlook the beach. Overall OK, but wouldn't come back. more

The friendliest service I have experienced anywhere lately, good fresh food, resaonable prices, and lovely ambience. The front porch has it all. more

More locals, less tourists, v.good food, many excellent healthy choices, decent vegan options, v. Fast service despite the full house a brunch. Little loud but you can talk without shouting. Thumbs up. more

This restaurant is great. It has so many breakfast options. \r The service can be either really fast or really slow it depends on how many people are in the restaurant. They have delicious food and their signature smoothie is amazing!!!\r When I go here it feels like such a healthy option because of all the whole wheat pancakes, oatmeal, fruit, and smoothies! I love how you never walk out with that bad feeling of "I am gonna explode." more

I really like coming here for the occasional brunch. I say occasional only because it priced a little higher than an every weekend kind of place. Other than that the food is really good with large portions, and the atmosphere is inviting. more

Good food, great environment on the porch with huge umbrellas. French toast is great more

Wonderful ambiance, great friendly service, fabulous food! The "green eggs" where awsome, french toast so good, menú filled with something 4 everyone. Prices reasonable 4 being on ocean drive. Will definately go again. more

We ordered at 11 am Sunday Feb 20. Took an hour to get our meals. I had an egg white western omelet, home fries and raisin toast. They tacked on an automatic 17% gratuity. Evidently this is common among South Beach restaurants because European tourists do not tip. The food was good, but many other restaurants will serve you more quickly. Will not return. more

Pretty place, a block north of the craziness. But kitchen was slow, not just us, but everyone. It wasn't even crowded. more

Four of us had different choices and all were great..I had California omelet with avocado and veggies; others had green eggs (made with pesto) and western omelet. The eggs were so fresh and cooked to perfection, served with pumpernickel bread and good coffee. A must when you are in Miami beach. more

I've only been there for breakfast but have been many times. Best breakfast burrito! I'm embarrassed by the shoddy, over priced food being served to tourists on our most well-known landmark. Again, Front Porch is the only place to eat on Ocean Drive. more

Delicious fish, fairly priced (for South Beach), and crack service. more

The pancakes are pretty good (I added bananas to them) and the freshly-squeezed OJ was delicious. My dad got the "green eggs" (pesto and pepper jack scrambled eggs) which was my favorite out of everything. My sister got the french toast and I couldn't stop stealing bites from her plate. My brother got the mouth-watering chicken satay omelette that is unlike any omelette I've had. So everything was great and the staff was friendly. Would go again. Would definitely recommend! more

I'm surprised by all the positive reviews. The "porch" setting is great but the food was unexceptional and a bit of a let down. I will try somewhere next time. more

Good food, good location, and surprisingly good service. We'll be back. more

Delish breakfast. The portions were good sized (especially the mixed fruit plate - no puny bowl of canned fruit cocktail here - this was fresh and enormous). If you go early (as in 9am - which is early according to SoBe time) you will be seated immediately and your meal will be unrushed, even on a Saturday morning. The prices are good for the quality of the food and the location. Sad to say, The Front Porch Cafe seems to be one of only a handful of honest restaurants on Ocean Drive (check reviews of other places). We'll be back, for sure. more
