The best tasting steak you will find anywhere! 4/3/2006

The flavor of a steak cooked over a wood fire is unmatchable at this restaurant. The accessories to your steak meal are quality and the wait staff is very attentive. Where else can you go and have the manager sit and chat with you when your done eating, cause she wants to know how there doing....great job....Amy! I love this place! Not a bad place. Cheap kid meals, free drink refills. My $30 cowboy steak could have been alittle more. They say its 32oz but i struggle with a 24 oz delmonico at aurthers in hoboken nj. So the cowboy steaks weight has to be 25% bone. we did not order dessert but for $9 you can get a 30oz slice of chocolate layer cake. its not a tourist trap and that is important. more

the staff is very friendly , the food is fanstastic, and they cook the food to perfection, ive been to other steak places and it takes several times to get it cook ther right way but texas cattle company does it the right way the first time. i have always recommended when i can this place to people that come from out of town and my other firends that live here. BIRTHDAY BEST 6/11/2004

I've gone to The Texas Cattle Co. for several years now to celebrate my birthday. Each year different friends come with me, and All are Impressed! Since my b'day is on Halloween, it is really FUN as all the wait staff dresses in costume and it is like one big Party! It's always surprising to find so many others also there for their b'days. Each server comes up with a character and interacts with the guests. ""Farmer Ted"" made us all laugh and added to the enjoyment of our meal, along with the excellent food. I always take the 'Cowboy' so that I can take some home to enjoy again! It's scruptious and the service is Great! Pros: Quality food, Attentive servers, Fun atmosphere more

Steak cooked over oak or orange wood..outstanding. The house salad is to die for! All the steaks are fresh, cooked to order, and are large portions. Arrive with a large appetite. The Cowgirl is enough for anyone but the Cowboy is 20 oz's of terrific porterhouse! Service is prompt, efficient, yet personable. Great location on US 19 in St Pete! Birthday wishes 3/22/2004

I used the city guide to find a place to go for my birthday on 3/22, and it lead me to the Texas Cattle Co. What i didnt know before I got there is on the day of your birth, the Co will give you a steak for FREE!!! Add that to the great tasting steaks and you have a recipe for a great night out!! more

We have been dining there since it has opend approx.15 years and love their steaks.We would rather go there than anywheres.Have tried alot others but this is by far our favorite resturaunt.The steaks have the best flavor and are tender and juicy it is just perfect there. I absolutely love the flavor of their steaks, cooked to perfection. I have fallen in love with the bleu cheese stuffed filet. Melts like butter in your mouth!! So tender!! And I cannot leave without one of their fantastic coffee drinks. The deserts look wonderfully delicious....but I never have room! Pros: too many to mention more

Best Steak 1/13/2003

The Texas Cattle Co is truly the best. The large portions of aged steak cooked perfectly to melt in the mouth, you can't go wrong. The menu has been expanded to include more appetizers but they truly aren't necessary. The service is quick, albeit, dressed down in cowboy and cowgirl outfits. Best of all, you a great tasting value that won't break the bank like some of the other ""great"" steak houses. Pros: taste, value, quick service more

Melts in your mouth like butter! 1/3/2003

Been to Bern's & spent $200 for a bad waiter & a cold meal.Texas Cattle Co has never let us down!Our choice:Stuffed Filet w/blue cheese(try the lobster w/it so good).We love this place, especially their sides like the garlic mashed potatoes,& sauteed mushrooms.I do wish they would improve upon are their salads(bland iceburg lettuce drowned in house dressing). Bonus: you get a free steak on your Birthday and you can upgrade it if you'd like! Pros: Good Value, Excellent Food, Great Variety Cons: Poor Salads, Wait on Weekends, Tap is sometimes out more
