It only takes one very bad experience to change a person's opinion. I wanted to change my skin care and make line, and did much research. I am familiar with Aveda quality and customer service and I wanted to go fully with Aveda products. In the store I was scanning through the products, found much of what I wanted with the exception of ONE item. I asked the two young women behind the counter (neither had come 'out' to assist me-no other customer was in the front of the salon)about this item, their response, "oh, I think it's been discontinued, sorry." And basically turned their backs. Ok, I thought, I put down all the items in my arms, proceeded to Macy's, had a full make over at the Este Lauder counter and spent $500.00. Perhaps working with 20 somethings this approach will be fine, but I guarantee if you want to keep the boomer generation, your customer service should be more consistant. (and maybe you don't, which is fine-I will spend money elsewhere) Ten has a great product and many positive qualities, but this experience was was very disappointing.
