I purchased a Toyota Solara used private party for my daughter. Prior to purchase I had the car inspected by Toyota of Temecula. I let them know that there was a noise coming from the passenger rear and to inspect for any problems. Due to the clean bill of health that Toyota of Temecula gave me, I purchased the car. I bought new tires from American Tire Company who stated that based on the sound they heard after driving the car my struts were shot. Well I didn???t believe them because 20 miles ago I paid Toyota to inspect the car and they marked the box for struts as ???in good condition??? Well I took the car back to Toyota of Temecula to reinspect guess what they said. ???The struts need repair/replacing at a charge of $700.00.??? When confronted on the issue they offered to reduce the price by 10%. I went down to Toyota to pick up my car and to discuss this with the manager, I was told to ???POUND SAND??? not only by the service manger but the General Manager as well. Also, when I dropped my car off we did a vehicle inspection and no damage was noted on the vehicle, when I received the car back the driver door was dented. When confronted about that they denied liability. I asked to have a vehicle inspection report done to note damage before leaving the premises they refused. When I persisted they stated that they would call the police and have me removed.
