Purchased a new electric furnace due to older unit no longer functioning. The work was done in a few hours and the new unit blow and heats better than the old unit. The only downside is the old unit had a cover plate built in and the new unit does not. Since this is located in a hallway I have an open 'cabinet' area where the furnace resides that the children can get into and get into working. I upgraded on recommendation to a unit that is heat pump ready which I am glad we did, however that altered the dimension so how the heat pump pipe is about one inch passed the wall opening. So I now have the additional work of building an enclosure which will protrude out into the hallway. It would be 5 stars across the board if we new of the dimension change and loss of the cover, now I have to invest more money and time into crafting a cover. We will definitely do a better job communicating exact dimensions in the future with the homeowner. Taylor Heating and AC installed our heat pump two years ago, and I couldn't imagine life, or summers without it! Our A/C quit working during the hottest days of last summer and thought we'd have to purchase a new unit. Called Taylor Heating for an estimate. They came out that same day, and even though we probably would have purchased a new unit, the tech assured us he could fix the problem for a lot less then replacing it. He had the air conditioning up and running in a short period of time. They knew exactly what needed to be fixed and got the job done. They responded fast. Gave me a great deal on a quality furnace. They were able to get in that day too..my installer was great. I tried to help but he said he had it..he was pretty impressive. Cleaned up all his mess, took my old furnace, and shook my hand on the way out. These guys are GREAT. Classy operation! more

Our furnace died in the middle of a chill and the guy from Taylor Heating & AC came out and took a look at it. We were looking to get it fixed but the costs weren't really conducive so we replaced it. He found a dented special and got it for us and had it installed that night. more
