Twin Cities' Best Venue 11/30/2006

Located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis, the Target Center hosts various concerts and sporting events, as well as other entertainment events. Home to the Minnesota Timberwolves, the facility is spacious, yet not overwhelmingly huge. The lobby is attractive and makes waiting in line for concert tickets more interesting. It is pretty easy to navigate the arena and find your seats. Even the nosebleed sections are not that bad. There are various concession stands located throughout the venue. Refreshments are pricey, so I only buy them as a last resort. The lines to get into the restrooms are also a pain. Other than that, I always enjoy my concert experiences here. more

What's in a name - a reputation! The Target Center is home of the Minnesota Timberwolves and a haven for many musical guests. The acoustics are pretty terrible for such acts, so beware before heaving out those heavy dollars. The Target Center is connected by the Minneapolis skyway, so enjoy an entire day of shopping, eating, and recreation without going outside into the cold! more

It depends on what kind of event you are going to see there as to what your experience is like. It is really a good Center. Some seats can be bad just know how the stage is going to be set up to chose your seats. The food is expensive like all event places. more

an ok place to watch basketball 8/21/2005

My overall experience for a Timberwolves game was good, I didn’t like the seats they were very uncomfortable. The view was bad from the cheap seats. The game was great though. The food tasted alright, but was not very convenient to get to with out missing a decent portion of the game. I would return to the target center for a Timberwovles game more

So-so venue for rock concerts 8/15/2005

I've been to see a couple acts - some that played at the Target Center and some that played at the Xcel Enery Center and I'd much prefer the latter over the former. At the Target Center there are more bad seats and the acoustics are worse. Also, I had some VIP access at each concerts and I can tell you it is much harder to get specifics out of the Target Center staff than the Xcel staff. But in the end, you don't have a choice where your favorite band plays, do you? So go to the Target Center to see them - just get good seats 'cause the bad ones can be bad and that just sucks. more
