i have been eating here for the last three years. and im at the point were i need to say this place has the freshest fish i know. anything with fish is a go. love the fact they always change it up with the rolls, always a good thing never not a dull moment. more

Love this place! I eat here often and always live the food! I order lunch there, and pick my order. I have never had any problems with my orders. I just went there for dinner and tried two new rolls. These are now my favorite; sea monster and fried eel roll. If you go give them a try! more

This place is a hidden gold mine. It is better than any other sushi restaurant I have been to, the fish is so fresh and yummy. I would highly recommend this local sushi restaurant. Ask their sushi chef for a recommendation, and you will get a treat! more

I use to frequent this place- at least 4-5 times per month sometimes more with delivery; however, I found a better place right up the street and won't ever go back. Although the food is decent, the owners here seem to care less if you are a frequent customer; and they NEVER get your delivery order correct no matter how many times you repeat it. more

Dont let the location or decor mislead you. I have been ordering sushi from this establishment for over 10 years. They used to only provide take out but have had a sit down restaurant for years. The sushi is fresh and the rolls are very unique. My recommendations are the sauteed calamari and the Dirty Roll. more

From the moment you walk into Take Sushi, you feel the warm comfortable atmosphere and get a great vibe. It's never jam packed and the food is fresh and amazing. I recommend having the Tuna Tataki for appetizer, then mixing it up by having their Tiger Roll and the Double Dragon Roll. Don't forget to try the Tempura Oreos for desert. I like to think of Take as my place to bring my friends, but everyone that I have brought their makes it back on their own. more

horrible service 6/5/2009

A simple rainy night with delivery turned out into a horrible experience. 2 hours to find a large condo, the driver refused help and demanded we meet 1 mile away to pick up my late food. Once there he took the food and swore at me for my frustration. I called the shop wanting my food and his job and was told because I would not be a customer I didn't matter and even though the incompetent driver could not do the simplest of tasks and swore at a customer he would keep his job. Please never go to this place and especially not the delivery. Pros: delvery Cons: 2 hours waiting and rude driver and manager more

Take Sushi never ceases to serve the tastiest and freshest dishes. My all time favorite is their pepper seared tuna salad (complete with avocado and this balsamic/honey reduction). SOOOO good! Their tuna is always super fresh, their rolls are always consistently amazing and their fried rice is killer, too! I am happy to say I have never gone wrong with a dish there in the 4 years I've been going. The owners/staff are super friendly and helpful, as well! more

Beyond Expectations 1/25/2005

I have been a big fan of this little beach restaurant since I found it by accident while coming from Pompano Beach. I live in Delray but continue to make the drive for the freshest and most creative sushi in the area. I have never had a bad meal here. Excellent place to try sushi for the first time or even better for the sushi ""mavens"" Pros: inexpensive, FRESH, excellent selection more

Innovative Sushi Restaurant 11/17/2004

Everyone is really friendly and makes me feel welcome. If you're not sure of what to get, the chef will make good recommendations for you. The fish are very fresh. They have special dishes that no other restaurants have. You must try their special dragon rolls and grilled miso seabass appetizer. Pros: Friendly, Fresh Fish, Inexpensive more
