I hate to talk bad about a place,especially since I lived there over 17yrs,since I rarely gotten a positive experience living there,this is wht I'm gonna say,I seen management change 14 times,they replace rude untrained staff with staff that sweep the last managers mistakes under the rug,only to pile even more rudeness and clerical errors on top. The parking lot is a mess,vehicles get broken into every other day,or rolls of cars ge flat tires just anout every weekend,tenants have no regard for other tenants privacy/personal space,since about 87% of residents are on section 8/ Douglas County Housing Program,you can expect the same environment setting as you would in north Omaha/the 68111 zip code area. I have filmed break ins,fights,thefts,lude conduct,and blatant disrespect from from teens to children between 6 and 10, parents dnt know the meaning of supervision,they rather have another tenant deal with their child,wich leads to the adults fighting arguing and cussing out in the open. I will be posting all the videos of what goes on at sunset ridge on YouTube,just type in sunset ridge and you will see what I and other Had to deal with while living in these over priced Townhomes,the floors/stairs creek very bad,the train that comes by shakes your place terribly,and I'm sure most tenants on sec 8 have no problems there,and find it to be a breath of fresh air from the hood,if only they would leave the hood in north Omaha,then those town homes would be half way livable.. But it will only get worse.. I finally was able to move out,and still receiving energy bills and payments due,that's how lazy the management system is on that property, the only person pulling their weight is the maintenance crew,and Liz the very nice and polite assistance, I wish them the best of luck, because that property is by far one of the worst to move in or raise a family if your not on Government assistance or section 8 program where your rent is $7.00 - $155.00,and most dnt work,so they basically pay nothing,so if you live rent free,you tend not to appreciate what you have,or your surroundings,that's how properties start turning into one way in,one way out project communities,til it finally gets so bad,the city Demolishes it like the project housing in north Omaha.. Sunset Ridge use to be a wonderful place to raise a family in the 90's,but now that Seldin went from nice quality living to a money hungry approve all Government programs to Acquire steady cashflo,that will be their downfall in the comming yrs..
