Sunset Auto provides excellent and timely service with great customer service. 12/15/2011

The week after moved to the Las Vegas area from out of state, both my car and my husbands car were in need of immediate repair. The employees at Sunset Auto were very helpful in fitting us into the schedule immediately and fixing our cars within a day or 2. They also provided a shuttle service to get us to and from their location which we were very appreciative of. Thank you Sunset Auto! more

Basically satisfied..but.. 12/14/2011

I had my car (1999 BMW) serviced and repaired at Sunset over two years and felt their service and expertise were as I had hoped except for the last time. I took my car in because of a wobble in the front wheel that occurred at 55 mph. I was told that I needed my back struts replaced which was done for about $550. Later when I picked up the car I noticed that it still had the wobble. I though that it might work out but it didn't. I took my car back and they checked it out again and after several days MD said it might be my tires. Apparently it was and they replaced my two front tires for another $550 +/-. This seemed to fix the problem. Despite their 100 guarantee Sunset would give no adjustment on the work. My basic concern was that the first work was done and the invoice said that the vehicle was "road tested" and I felt that if it was fully tested they would have discovered that the problem wasn't fixed. more

After our long-time mechanic closed his shop 18+ years ago, we had never found an honest and competent shop. With 3 old vehicles, we have been to Sunset many times in the 18 months since we discovered them. We have never had a more positive experience with mechanics and MD is the best guy you could ever deal with. Fortunately, Sunset is only 15 minutes from my home, but I would drive much further to get their service. more

90k Mile tune-up 12/2/2011

I've been going to Sunset Auto since I got my first car. They are AAA approved and have always been efficient, cost effective and friendly. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs work on their cars. I think they only work on foreign models, but that may have changed over the years. more

Service is great, But I'm a little disapointed that all my family that I have sent there gets coupons and I have never received one. Sunset Auto is the only place I will let work on my F250. more

Sunset Auto is the shop I most prefer and most frequent. There have been multiple occasions where another shop has recommended a costly fix, and on second opinion the good people at Sunset Auto made a quick fix at no charge. These guys are the best! more

Fully satisfied with everything 11/18/2011

I have been taking my vehicles to Sunset Auto since 2005. This would be my Mercedes and Nissan and Toyota trucks. I have always been given excellent service and when they remember your name from the first time to the second time that means a lot. That is why I like them along with the fair and fast work that they do. I would recommend them to anyone and I have several times over the years. more

The Best Auto Service 9/14/2011

I used Sunset Auto for over 10 years while living in Vegas. They are the only ones that I could really trust & always knew that they would not inflate the bill. From the ole' Mercedes to a Dodge Van they were tops...Plus they have the best lookin' & most knowledgable mechanics in the Vegas area. Don't forget to use your AAA discount. more

Faulty Repair Work 7/5/2011

I have been going to this shop for a long time and unfortunately my business wasn't appreciated. My vehicle was repaired improperly which caused a significant transmission leak and ultimately transmission failure. They installed a radiator and negligently forgot to attach the transmission and coolant lines. The manager was not very helpful, apologetic, nor did he seem to to take responsibility for the issue. He instead thought it was in his best interest to blame the age of my vehicle, giving him adequate excuse to make a mistake and get away with it. Did not offer a refund or repair. I question the experience of the mechanics now working there. You know the quality and character of a business when an issue arises. more

Sunset Auto is an honest, good business. I had taken my Volvo XC90 in for a problem. The first time they did not get it right and I was very frustrated but MD the manager worked with me and he made it right. After a bumpy start all ended well because they wanted it to. WOW! Great thorough auto service! 7/24/2010

A friend told me of this great and I do mean great place to have your car repaired. Mike, MD and Michael stunned me with their thoroughness, honest aproach and well - words fail me. I have had many, many cars, both imported and domestic and they are the best I have found in the last 30 years. The results of their inspection of my car literally stunned me. All I can say is take your car and let them inspect it and save you money, time and assist you w/attention to your time, not theirs. WOW! what a difference and they are busy but not too busy to look you in the eye with the results. Do talk to them first or if you have other estimates, talk to them before you proceed with your repair. You w/be thankful you did. KEEP it up guys.
