I am really surprised by some of these reviews. I have been coming here for at least 3 years regularly for all my services and I have had a great experience every time. The facialists are incredible. After the facial my skin always glows and I am so relaxed that I can't wait to come back (I am a surgeon so I get pretty tense). The waxing is superb and I am left with very smooth legs,bikini,etc and it lasts for a really long time. I always recommend this place to my girlfriends and they are very particular about spas so I wouldn't even mention it to them if it wasn't great. I say you would be mistaken not to go. I came here for a haircut and style, and was disappointed. It wasn't professionally quality. When I described what kind of cut I wanted, the guy just said ""uh huh, uh huh"" and didn't really confirm with me what he was going to do. I emphasized that I wanted long layers, texturized, not too much length off. When he cut my hair, it was in long diagonal slices with his scissors--his version of layering was to just cut in slanted lines. He did no texturizing (making sure the cuts aren't too blunt) and never did touch-ups on my layers once he sliced them off. He also used brushes, not a comb, on my hair after it got washed. I've bee going to sutdio 97 for a few years now. Their customer service is great- not pretentious or rude. I get Brazilian and Facials there regularly. The price is unbeatable and the quality of service is great. I have been to many other salons in Brooklyn- and this 1 is the best by far. I have recommended the salon to all of my friends. I was referred to studio 97 salon by a friend. I made an appointment to get a facial and when I arrived I was greeted warmly. The facial was amazing! The products used really helped my skin. The facialist was an expert and highly professional. I would recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a relaxing time! Pros: very relaxing, great products more
