I came in with very bad ongoing stump pain due to an amputation. His first and ONLY suggestion for pain relief was to insert electrical lines in my spine and insert an operating device in my body. This procedure only has a 50 percent success rate.
I thought about it over the weekend and talked to other doctors that said stay away!! I was also told that Mr. Stein is in bed with Medtronic?s the maker of the device. The more he implants, working or not, the more money he makes.
When I asked for injection therapy (which works) he said ""there?s nothing I can do for you? He acted like a little kid whose football was taken away from him by a bully. He automatically yelled to the front desk to have me sign a discharge paper.
If you want this guy to use you as his lab rat, or to pad his bank account for him, than he is your man.
This guy has a severe case of Napoleon syndrome and is a bit Narcissistic for sure.
DO NOT USE there are much better doctors out there that care about your pain. Also the front desk talks about other patients treatments which are why we all sign the HIPPA Act form in the first place, right!
Avoid at all cost; don?t let the website fool you.
Also there is a 25$ co-pay that is only by CASH, no credit cards or checks. Wonder how much of that is declared?
Cons: Plenty
