Best

What I like most about these cupcakes is the buttery flavor of the moist cake, and of course the generous slathering of frosting. \r \r They are not inexpensive by any means, ...

Worst

I gotta say, these cupcakes are not special! at $3 and up, they are ALL about the hype. They're good, sure, but so are the red velvet cupcakes from Ralph's. Not worth a long line ...

Best Cupcakes EVER! 8/13/2009

This place has the most amazing red velvet cupcakes I have ever tried. Nothing is comprable. Not Yummy cupcakes, not even Magnolia which Sprinkles was reportedly designed after. If you're in the LA area, you have to make a stop here. Seriously their red velvet cupcakes are life changing. Pros: The Red Velvet Cupcakes Cons: Parking, lines, tiny, no place to sit more

Mixed up?? 3/26/2009

I've heard about sprinkles from many friends. So I drove over 30 miles to get to sprinkles cupcakes. Just a reminder, I was celebrating my birthday weekend. I ordered a dozen cupcakes just 2 days before my scheduled pickup. I actually spoke to a live person at the Beverly Hills location. When I arrive to pick up my cupcakes, an employee tells me that they have NO order for me for pickup that day! An employee did find my order, but it was in the computer for pickup the following weekend. I was compansated, but that was just a little distrubing! :( more

cupcakes 12/9/2008

This place is pretty good. I had to try one after all the buzz, but I feel like I've had better pastries before. And it's way too over priced, but they do use the best ingredients so I guess i can't complain. Overall, pretty good. more

Not all that 10/9/2008

I went to sprinkles and i got offended on how they have all the latinos working in the back and every other race in the front taking orders or working the register. Pros: none more

Devastatingly Horrible! 10/6/2008

I'm from San Diego and was at a Dodger game and drove up to Bev. Hills just for Sprinkles because I heard how amazing they are. I bought 6 red velvet, 4 black & whites, and a peanut butter and carrot cake. I drove back home, excited to share them with my family. THEY WERE HORRIBLE!!!!! Dry, greasy and the absolute worst treat I have ever had in my life! I was sooooooo disappointed! I had been looking forward to Sprinkles for a long time!\r I called and left a very nice voicemail to let the company know, and they called me back and very nicely said sorry. And that was that.\r I've come to the conclusion that Sprinkles are VERY overrated! Save your time and taste buds and just make your own!\r Cons: PRICE & TASTE more

Dry, bland cupcakes 9/6/2008

A great cupcake place if, for instance, eating cardboard smeared in frosting is your thing. I used to like the IDEA of Sprinkles Cupcakes, and then they started suing all of their competitors and proved just how petty they are. Stick to your local cupcake shop if you want an authentic, moist, delicious cupcake... That is, unless Sprinkles has sued them out of business and put one of their cardboard-dry cupcakes in its place. Pros: Fantastic if you approve of quashing small businesses with frivolous lawsuits Cons: If you have a conscience... Or tastebuds... more

Not great at all 9/3/2008

The cupcakes are overrated and they claim to be the first cupcake bakery? Did they invent cupcakes? My friend makes a better cupcake and i hear that they are suing every cupcake bakery out there. I don't believe that ""dot"" is too original. As far as I am concerned I thought it was a TARGET product and it didn't really taste that good.\r \r What do celebrities know, definitely not quality more

The Emperor has no clothes 8/27/2008

The emperor has no clothes. Think about it people. Sprinkles is not worth the price, the wait. Someone even had their pet dog in the store. I complained to the manager. They said they didn?t want to offend anyone, and let the dog stay. There is a reason for not allowing pets into food establishments, it?s called a health code for a reason. more

Seriously? 8/3/2008

Why do people go to this place? The cupcakes are too rich, too expensive, and way overrated. Flavorless grease is the best descriptive. Why on earth is this place so popular? The service is very good, but seriously, you'd be better off making your own cupcakes at home....think about it...you can make 24 for the price of 1. I realize cupcakes aren't a healthy food option, but when the grease from the cupcake lingers on my lips even after I've wiped my mouth, we've got a problem. Take it down a notch, Sprinkles.....in both richness and price. more

Red V elvet!! Worth the wait! 7/16/2008

We order these cupcakes for the office all the time. I love the red velvet. Part of the fun is waiting in line and trying to decide what cupcake to order. I always order two different kinds when I'm there. Another favorite is the pumpkin cupcake. I'm a healthy guy who works out a lot but I always make an exception for this place. Friendly staff and fun atmosphere. Pros: CUPCAKES!, Friendly Staff, Packaging Cons: Wait, Price for a dozen more

Love the cupcakes, but hate the wait. 7/10/2008

I go to sprinkles very often to pick up cupcake for my kids. We all love the cupcake, but hate the wait. Parking is also horrible.\r Their staff is friendly and nice, but a bit on the young side, so they get sidetracked many times, as customers are waiting (maybe that's why the wait is so long).\r But overall, I'll still come back time & time again for the amazing cupcakes, I just wish it was a little more worry free. Pros: Great Cupcakes! Cons: the wait & the parking more

Over rated. 6/24/2008

So I don't get all the hype over Sprinkles Cupcakes. They're over priced, over rated and over crowded. They're pretty and all, but thats about it. The parking situation isn't good and the line into the itty bitty shop is always horrible. My biggest dissapointment was the Red Velvet...You call THAT a red velvet?!?! It tasted just like a chocolate cupcake. Nothing special. For all the hype this place gets, I just don't get it. They're just average... Pros: Pretty Cupcakes Cons: Over priced...over crowded...over rated. more
