Best Burgers. 12/18/2007

Great food here....everything seems really fresh and nicely made...as a cook myself , I love eating here. Especially the burgers. The cookies are made fresh and the Char sui salad is amazing. Servers are friendly and its nice to not see an all male kitchen. Sit and relax watching television. Just beware no tto go there on busy game days you will be waiting a long time to get a seat. more

Fun sports bar 9/9/2007

Go here during football and college basketball season. MAKE RESERVATIONS! It is almost impossible to sit in the recliner area where the big screen is however you can see the big screen from all the tables. Our waitstaff has been friendly and not pushy... they understand you plan to be there 3+ hours and don't expect you to order appetizer, meal and dessert. Place isn't too loud so if you watch a game different from the big screen you can still hear. Food is okay... my reuben was awful, had absolutely no flavor but the ranch chicken sandwich is yummy. The Haagen Dazs milk shakes are delish, almost a meal in themselves! The burgers are big and hearty, I tend to share the Bleu-Cheeseburger with my husband as who needs a half pound of beef sitting in their stomach. The pizza's are thin style so one person could eat a small. The nachos were really disappointing and not at all plentiful, especialy for $12.25 if you order with chicken. Well, we ordered them with chicken but only found two or three chunks. They used to be on the Passport card, buy one get one deal, but are no longer. more

Best value in Seattle 6/9/2007

I first visited SPORT based upon a recommendation from a few friends who regular the restaurant every Sunday during footbal season. I came in with no expectations other than a solid sports bar with some good beer and food. I could not have underestimated my experience any more. My first impression was awe at the enormous high-def projection big screen in the lounge in addition to the personal TVs in every booth. This enjoyment was augmented with the best burger I've had in my entire life (The Kobe Beef Burger). My friends and I had a few rounds of beer from their impressive local and imported selection and were shocked when we found our tab to be significantly lower than expected. Needless to say, I would recommend SPORT to any sports enthusiast. However, I would extend that invitation to anyone looking for a high value experience with great food and entertainment. SPORT rocks! Pros: Food, Service, Ambience, Value Cons: Busy during major sporting events more

best sports bar in seattle 6/4/2007

service was great, food was great. no waitresses in orange shorts to annoy me or drunken slobs trying to talk to me. the best sports bar in the city. Pros: professional, great service, great food more

Great Service, Great Food make for a Great Time 5/31/2007

This was my third trip into SPORT and the one thing I have been most impressed with all three times is the service. These people know how to take care of their customers and go out of their way to prove it. Pros: Attentive service, great food, parking, tv's galore Cons: Having a hard time finding one more

With food this good can it really be a Sport's Bar! 5/31/2007

Wow, my husband took me here to watch a Mariner game and my expectations of a Sport's Bar have been ruined forever. With TV's everywhere including our own booth and a ginormous big screen that had my husband salivating, I had no idea the best was yet to come. In an incredibly clean and open space I had one of the best meals I have ever had, let alone in a Sport's Bar setting. The menu is extensive and should satisify all but the quality is what just blew me away. I had a New York Steak that was as good as any I have eaten in any Steakhouse in the city. My better half had a Kobe Beef Burger and although it was a $13.00 burger, it was by far, the best burger I have ever tasted and there were Angus burgers for under $10.00 on the menu as well. Our Coconut Shrimp Appetizer was really good but the dipping sauce was to die for. And how can a girl say no to a Haagen Dazs Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae. This is not your ordinary Sport's Bar and although it may seem a bit expensive at first glance, the quality of food, the incredible service we received and the overall enviornment just can't be matched. I can't believe I am saying this but I am looking forward to going back to a SPORT because this experience was off the charts. Pros: Food, Service, Quality of Ingredients, Enviornment, Parking Cons: May seem a tad expensive but well worth it if you want great food more

Small Portions Huge Prices 3/29/2007

This place does have a ton of TV's and the atmosphere isn't all that bad but I ordered the Crab Salad sandwich expecting something other than a Mayo soaked slice of bread. The pizzas are tiny and overpriced and there is NO WAY THAT THEY SHOULD CHARGE $12 FOR A BURGER! Pros: Lots of TVs Cons: Portions, Prices, and Overall Value more

God Bless Large TV's! 2/22/2007

My friends and I had a great time here for happy hour this week. The info here was right it did help us save some dough, and our waitress was attentive and very good. I can't wait to go back to watch some big games on that HUGE TV. My brother had been here a few drunken times also with a group of rowdy guys and had fun also. Pros: TV's TV's TV's more

Sport is the Worst Restaurant/Bar in Seattle 11/9/2006

I went one evening to meet my wife there for drinks/dinner during the Huskies Basketball season last year and was told that they had reached their capacity and could not let anyone else in. I politely asked if I could just duck in and tell my wife that I couldn't get in and so we could go somewhere else and they said no. Then after waiting for about 20 minutes to get in, my wife comes out with a friend to use the bathrooms(which, btw, are not in the restaurant) and asked the Host/Manager (who should be a manager at Chuck E Cheese) if I could come in and he smiled slyly and said o.k. You would think I'd be happy about this, but it's happened(the overcrowding) on more than one occasion and they're so inconsistent with telling patrons that they can or can't come in that it's annoying. Food is average. Servers are o.k. Everything's overpriced. Management are buffoons. I wanted to like this place because I lived in Belltown, but they lost me at the front door. more

TVs are above average 10/19/2006

The service is slow and confused. The food is below average and the drinks are not cheap, but you can watch the game from any where as they are way above average in number and quality of sets. Pros: TVs Cons: service, food and prices more

Qulity clientel, polite servers, choice of TV 8/1/2006

This is a great restaurant. We went for dinner, took the kid, and had a great time. The thousand TV's were all playing sporting games (obviously), but the Tv at the table allowed us the freedom to let our child choose the program, allowing us to enjoy the food (try the pork medalions) and linger over our meal without a barrage of ""is it time to go yet"". I'm sorry to hear of others with poor opinions of the service, we were treated most excellently and the emplyees were very nice to our child. We are planning a trip to Alaska soon and are making room for an extra day in Seattle so we can stop in again. Absolutly recommend. Pros: Excellent Service, Good food, upscale atmosphere w/comfort. more

Excellent TVs, deplorable service, overpriced food 6/13/2006

Beware of the single review users who plug hard and award 5 stars. PLANTS!! Sports tries so hard yet falls short. The decor is upscale Chilis with high def TVs everywhere (although there always seems to be a few on the fritz). This is the reason to go to Sport. The servers try to be nice but the management is clueless and it shows in the service. I was there for the US v Czech WC game and was outside the door at 8:55 am. A group of us were let in just before kick off and I went directly to the lounge to watch the 130"" THEATER SCREEN (not TV - the glare is horrible during the day). I was told the Sounders had the lounge reserved so I was forced to move. Fifteen minutes later I see the manager escort a group of chuckleheads into the lounge (clearly NOT Sounders) while I sat in the cheap seats ordering OJs so they'd let me stick around. Poorly done! The weak reviews of the food are fair. It's nothing special and definitely overpriced. If you don't mind poor service and value then go for the sports coverage - it's worth it. It's also a restaurant so you can take the underaged friends. Pros: Abundance of TVs and sports coverage Cons: Terrible service and inept management more

Above Average Sports Bar 1/13/2006

This is a great place to go if you want to grab a few drinks before heading over to a basketball or hockey game. Prices are a bit above average but the atmosphere more than makes up for it. There was plenty of seating and it wasn't too loud, making it easy to have a conversation while watching the game. The food menu was longer than the average sports bar and the food itself was great. The service was also very fast and friendly. This is definitely an upscale sports bar, so if you're the type that only likes cheap beer and pretzels, this is probably not the place for you. But, if you're the type that doesn't mind spending the extra nickel for a quality place, check it out. Pros: Atmosphere, Service, Food Cons: Slightly overpriced more

Bland Food, High Prices 12/10/2005

I went to Sport for the first time today with fairly low expectations and wasn't disappointed. This is pretty much a copy of Hooters (without the slinky outfits) or Fox Sport grill. The decor and ambiance says I am a chain and stays well within the safe haven of suburb-style decor. The food is ok, but very expensive. My coworker had a Thai chicken sandwich which cost $9.95 and I had a BBQ chicken sandwich for $9.50. Each sandwich had a small helping of jo jo's. For this much money I expected much more, but the sandwiches are small, dry and boring and the fires are well, just fries. This meal should cost about $5.50. In addition the very long menu really doesn't have much. I didn't see any vegetarian and do you really need 6 versions of the same chicken sandwich or 12 versions of the same burger? Pros: Lots of Sports Cons: Price, bland food, limited selection more

This place is SO overrated! 10/23/2005

Sport is a joke. They need to figure out what crowd they are going for - the name totally is misleading - you'd think they are all about sports with the name of the bar but they are really just a wannabe trendy joint for people who want to pretend they care about the game but really are there to pick someone up. If you want to find a good place to watch the game head to any other sports bar in town - this place lost the game! Cons: Bad Service, Wannabe pick up joint, Overpriced more

The Best Sport's Restaurant in Seattle 9/10/2005

If you haven't been to Sport, I highly recommend it! more

Waiter Kennely Rocks 7/12/2005

We went on a friday night to watch the soccer game we dont get at home. A booth with private cable tv, WOW. More entertaining than most music at pioneer square. Kennely(sp?) took very good care of us. Best margarita & hotwings i've had in a long time, & I am a margarita connoisseur. Sports viewing heaven. Everything perfect, all night. That margarita & TV are calling me now. Pros: tv, best margarita more

this place has a fun HOT staff! 6/13/2005

it's incredible from the entrance. walls of sports memories and 50 something t.v.'s. the atmosphere is totally comfortable and fun for all ages and people. the staff is smart and quick...and the food is above average. not pub grub for sure! Pros: great value, great food, great service more
