I have had good experiences so far with the nurse practitioner Sheree, the nurses, and office staff. However, the ultrasound tech is rude and dismissive. I have been very disappointed. I wonder if I'm always catching her on a bad day or if this is just her personality. \r \r Edited to add: I am referring to the Clayton location. more

Horrible experience with these doctors. I have medicaid and started going here when i found out i was pregnant. the doctors are very rude as well as the nurses. Dr. Evans always acted like i was annoying her or was an inconvenience to her. I gave birth to my beautiful daughter about 6 weeks ago and my labor and delivery was horrible. Dr. Evans was the one who delivered my baby and during my labor she was extremely rude and impatient. If i had to pee when she came to check my cervix she would get clearly irritated and roll her eyes. When i was in so much pain that i was begging for an epidural they got annoyed at me. I HATED my experience with these doctors, and I would NEVER recommend them to anybody more

No professional nurses or reception/wait staff. It's obvious your not in Raleigh. You can hear nurses talking about patients; it's almost like Laverne and Shirley are working in the office triage... really makes you wonder if the Drs are qualified.. and do they even care about the way their staff acts or do they just want to check... Really could go on and on... more

Great experience 3/17/2012

I went to the Southeast Medspa for Botox to the crows feet and Juvederm for my lips. Mary Shaver, RN is the best! Results with both product were amazing. My crows feet have disappeared and my lips are fuller. Mary makes you look naturallly enhanced not overly enhanced. She is a true artist and you can tell aesthetics is her passion. I highly recommend her. The offoce staff were very friendly and made you feel welcomed. more

Always Exceptional Service 11/13/2011

I became a patient at Southeast Women's Center in July 2011. They have always provided exceptional care in a very timely manner. Dr. Mock is a wonderful physician, she is compassionate, caring and takes her time with you. I have never been rushed through an appointment. In October I had a follow-up appointment on a Tuesday and everything went fine and as expected, I was not due to be seen again for another 4 months. The following Monday I called the office after spending the weekend in terrible pain, I was seen and taken care of immediately. Everyone in the office from the receptionists in the front to the nurses, lab techs and physicians have been wonderful. I am terribly sorry that some of the women at this site have described such a terrible experience. I cannot comment on their experience, I have not been seen for pregnancy but for another issue. I can say that I have never witnessed pregnant women being treated poorly by any of the staff. I am very confident in the service that I have been provided, so much so that I have scheduled my daughter for her first gynecological exam at this office (Smithfield). In my opinion this is a great site to get gynecological care. more

HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE'S CANT BELIEVE THEY ARE NOT SHUT DOWN 11/2/2011

I Moved back to the area at 7 months pregnant and chose them as my provider. I have medicaid and assume that is why i recieve such horrible services from them. I have seen numerous Doctors ( if thats what you want to call them) in my visits and each time get treated like an inconvenience and am interupting their day. I have not yet had a chance to talk to a doc there for more than 3 minutes reguarding my pregnancy. I have multiple questions and each time i try to have a ocnversation with a doc i am cut off and rushed and as they walk out the office door basically avoiding any conversation or questions. worst experience ever with a doctor. i am now 6 weeks away from the expected birth of my daughter and am in search of another doctor. i refuse to let them deliver my child or attempt to pretend they are doing their job servicing me again. absoulutly disgusted! they should be reported. and i would not deliver my child in johnston memorial hospital either. i wouldnt go in there to change a band-aid! stay away from these doctors. they almost caused a friend of mine to lose their child because they wouldnt listen to her when she said something was wrong and come to find out the babies cord was wrapped around his neck and she had to have an emerg c section all within 10 minutes to save her child. mean while, doc terlington mentioned he was going to take a nap since he had been working all day and to send someone to wake him up when it was time to deliver! what kind of practice is this! someone please do something. more

TERRIBLE HEALTH CARE AND STAFF 8/22/2011

Many of the dr's && nurses are very very rude and impatient with you. God forbid if you have medicaid then they treat you like your crap...im sorry not everybody is financially stable enough to afford high end insurance which they would obviously prefer...maybe if I had had better insurance my experience with my first child birth would have been better!!! So now I am not able to go there for anything even if it deals with my mirena which I got done there!!! And a few weeks ago the lovely receptionist cussed about me to the lady at the quik med....apparently they told me to take their ""damn"" name off my medicaid card twice...Those were her exact words!!! Luckily AFTER I had my baby my good friend decided to tell me how Dr. Turlington left gauze in her after a c-section and she found them because a huge boil came up on her stomach and one of her relatives was slowly pulling out gauze on by one!! AND WE CALL THAT GOOD HEALTH CARE????????? SOME BODY NEEDS TO SHUT THEM DOWN!!!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER EVER EVER GO TO THEIR OFFICE AGAIN OR GIVE THEM THE TIME OF DAY!! more

Terrible Experience! Do not reccomend! 3/3/2011

I gave birth to my first son with Dr. Evans. I had all my prenatal care with Southeast Women's Ctr. Dr. Turlington was always very short and impersonal and seemed to not care. Dr. Evans was terribly impatient during my birth!! After my hospital birth of my first son I swore I would never give birth in a hospital with such horrible physicians again and I haven't. I have given birth to my 2nd and 3rd children at home with midwives and am planning the same for my 4th child. I am not a number and births should not be rushed! I deserve better and my baby most certainly deserves better than the care I recieved from Southeast Women's Ctr. and their physicians!! Dr. Evans, I wish you could have experienced natural childbirth for yourself, it IS wonderfull when aloud to progress natually and compasionatly! more

A wonderful Healthcare experience 7/26/2010

This is in response to Sheva, whom wrote a bad review about Southeast Womens Center-I myself had an appointment with SWC in their Clayton office where I saw a nurse practitioner-never once was I led to believe she was a doctor-If that were the case why keep going back to her you should have requested a MD-the front staff was very pleasant and and so was the nurse I encoutered when I went to the back(of course, you could tell they were a little stress from the lack of staff opposed to the amount of patients that were there;and I did feel that the MedSpa clients took presendence over the other patients) If I had any complaints at all it would have been with the doctor who was yelling at his nurse and using the word GodD@*** in which I was very offended seeing how I was in the room across from the lab where I could here everything. I was very upset-and the nurse apologized but of course this doctor did not bother. So inclusion, all of us have bad days-but the ""American Way"" is if you had a bad experience then you should have taken care of it instead of just walking out-this do not solve anything. Pros: Friendly Staff;Good Health Care Cons: Bad Language by Doctor;MedSpa in with GYN services more

Outstanding Professional Service 7/25/2010

I have had a number of procedures performed at Southeast Med Spa including Botox injections, Restylane, and Vascutoch on my legs and face. I have always gotten great results, and I look 5 to 8 years younger now. Angel and Donielle turned me onto the Obagi products to help erase years of sunbathing damage to my face and neck. I'm looking forward to this winter when I can return for a chemical peel. I will be going to Southeast Med Spa for as long as I care about my looks, and while I'm not vain, I can;t imagine ever getting so old that I won't want to look my best! Pros: Pleasant Staff, Short Wait Times Cons: I live in Raleigh/Durham, and they are in Clayton more

Horrible Healthcare! 6/25/2010

I have never been so astounded and dissapointed with such horrible healthcare!\r The lady at the front desk is clearly frustrated with her workplace and struggles with her computer, she makes no secret of it.\r The women who ""take care"" of you having entered the facitlity are rude and cold and treat you as if you are some kind of inconvenience having interrupted their loud and personal conversations regarding their personal lives and those of the patients.\r Where is the management to control this awful and uncomfortable behaviour?\r My first visit i had a personal examination which was dominated by a lady attendant who proceeded to discuss and complain about her problems with another patient and staff.\r This was very uncomfortable and embarrassing for myself and the nurse (whom i was led to believe was a Doctor) conducting the examination.\r On future visits I was amazed at the lack of knowledge regarding the healthcare being administered (contraception etc)\r I kept receiving blank looks when asking about percentages of safety and side effects.\r They said they weren't sure and they would look it up,which they never did.\r Surley they should have some basic knowledge?\r Unfortunately my body reacted negatively to the drugs given to me,which sadly due to their lack of knowledge ,happened another two times.\r They didn't even tell me how to collect my prescriptions,in the full knowledge that i was completetly new to the American system ,which is different to my native England.\r The final straw for me was when my last appointment with my ""Doctor"" who was a nurse, left me waiting in a room for a full 50 minutes ,alone!\r I walked out, never to return.\r Sadly, I still haven't found an alternative practice,I've been reluctant to try anywhere else.\r I really hope this is not the standard for womens healthcare in North Carolina or the rest of America\r If this is the case my future medical bill will include the the cost of flights home to England! :(\r \r Cons: too many too mention! more
