The Best for Less...5 Stars! 9/10/2010

My wife and I brought our two Toy Poodles to the South Seattle Veterinary Hospital to have their teeth cleaned and scaled. The receptionist was helpful, friendly and professional.\r \r Dr. Nagra attended to us quickly and in a very friendly, professional manner. He had a genuine interest in our dogs and explained the entire process. The process takes several hours because the dogs are put under general anesthesia. When we picked Marcus and Dallas up, they were very alert and happy to see us. \r \r Our dogs had had their teeth cleaned at another vet hospital 2 years ago. The dogs were heavily sedated when we picked them up and they were not normal for a day. \r \r We have requested that all of the dog's medical records be transferred to South Seattle Veterinary Hospital and they will be our new vet. The service and results were the best that we have had and their fees are lower than our former vets.\r \r Do yourself and your pets a favor and visit SS Vet Hospital. more

Great Place To Take Pets 9/4/2010

They are honest and fair to us. I just love them! Do note, the building is older and might give the apperance that it's not as clean as it should be, but this isn't the case at all. I've been in all the back areas and the animals are well cared for, cages clean, and no foul smells. Hygiene is defiantly important to them. more

Caring and compassionite 6/25/2010

They are truly great vets, I had a sick rabbit and the quality of life was bad, when we decided to put him down, they were understanding and compassionite, plus very professional. Our little rabbit had been with us for years and across the country, they made a terrible ordeal bearable. We now will drive way out of our way to take our pets to them! more

SSVH and Dr. G are the best!!!! 5/8/2010

Dr. G. was just amazing, The surgical procedure he did responded much more quickly than we expected, and it's been difficult keeping Rosey from resuming her life as usual behavior, while the muscles fully heal : ) Did I mention that I really love this dog and Dr, G became a vet because he really loves dogs! There's no bottom line like that bottom line : ) I called about a gazillion times with questions, and always got a cheerful, informed response. I also went to the clinic six times, even though we live 35 miles away. Dr G's staff really loves animals and lots of them came and went while we were there, but Rosey is such a pill about eliminating all other dogs from planet Earth, that I didn't get to meet many of them : ( Rosey is my best friend and I felt like she was in the most caring and capable hands in Seattle! After mistakenly believing that a board certified orthopedic surgeon was the only real choice, I was blessed to find a library of reviews for this wonderful hospital and no more

I brought our setter pup in after being hit by an Access Bus and was so grateful for the kindness and timeliness showed by all the staff. Dr. Goraya was wonderful. He called me every 2 hours with updated reports and treatments. He offered options to us if we wanted to transfer the dog to an intensive care facility. I know that everything possible was being done for our pet and all treatments were exactly as we would have done for people in an emergency room. I am so impressed with care from all of those involved in such a scary situation.\r \r Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for saving our little guy. You are the greatest.\r Jean and Tom more

south seattle vet-dr goray & staff are kind & caring 2/6/2010

my 5yr old cat dieter recently had blockage in his urethra & was in critical condition. when he was first brought to southseattle vet hospital & he spent almost 5days in there facility.& i have nothing but good tings to say about there hospital\r Everyone on staff & was kind ,sympathetic & genuinely cared about my cat . i received updates every day .they took realy good care of my pet . they use to allow me to visit him . there facility was very clean ,they use to call me & update every day. they really affordable as compared to all other emergency vets . \r i highly recommend dr goraya. everyone i came into contact there was wonderful & you should feel confident leaving your beloved pet in their caring hands more

great place & very friendly staf& vets .dr goraya thoroghly explained everything he was doing & was willing to discuss any pros& cons of certain vaccination ,instead of pushing everything on to make more money . open 7 days to help your pet in case of emergency . more

South Seattle Veterinary Hosp is amazing!!! 9/19/2009

the most amazing vet ever. Instead of paying for a fancy building in a high rent neighbor hood your money goes to quality health care and honestly paid staff. I could not possibly give a higher recommendation than to drive no matter how far away to use this clinic! They are honest, fairly priced, and truly caring people who seem to take the same passion about your pet as you would. They have made a life time customer out of me- Thanks Rusty and Jessica ( and kona the pup) more

Special People For Your Special Pet 8/5/2009

Every person who works at South Seattle Veterinary Hospital is uniquely caring and dedicated to the health and well-being of their patients. Lisa at the front desk is AMAZING! Sometimes she reminds me of an air-traffic controller, always busy and in demand but still focused, efficient, and definitely puts animals first. The Vets themselves are all genuinely kind, good-hearted professionals who have consistently exhibited a great deal of intelligence and compassion. For a place that charges 1/3 of the price vet clinics in Downtown Seattle do, you'll get 10x the quality of service. Whether it's an emergency or just a check up, South Seattle Vet will give your pet the best care available. I won't take my 17 year old kitty any place else! more

Caring Doctor 5/17/2009

Through the years I have met many veterinarians, but never one as compassionate as Dr. Goraya. I have been taking my two chihuahuas to him for going on 2 years and in December 2008, I had to put my 13 year old to sleep. Dr. Goraya and his staff were very caring and this made the difference for me. \r \r Misty was with me for 13 years and she was the best friend that anyone could ever have. I miss her, but know that she was in good hands with Dr. Goraya. \r \r \r If you have a pet and want a doctor that cares then you must see Dr. Goraya. more

Dr G. & Lisa Rock!!! 4/26/2009

It took me a long time to find a vet I could trust to take care of my babies, Dr G. and Lisa are so amazing no matter what they are up against. From my Labrador with severe allergies to my rats needing treatment for respiratory illness Dr G. knows his stuff. I would recommend South Seattle to anyone wanting the BEST for their pet! more

Dr. G Rocks!!!! I have been bringing me beagles here for a couple of years now and I appreciate the caring staff and the excellant care provided. You could not find a more reasonable rated pet hospital. No matter what time you call, day or night, they are always there to offer a helping hand. Thanks Dr. G. \r \r I recently had to have my 210 lb mastiff put to sleep. Dr. Nagra came out to my house to examine him because I could not get him to the car. Dr. G returned the following day, on his day off by the way, to put him to sleep.\r \r I could not recommend this group of vets more. Kindness and compassion are the norm. I recently moved further away from these guys and I would still do not have a problem driving 25 minutes to seek their care. \r \r Great Vet, Great Staff more

Amazing Dr. G 12/6/2008

I highly recommend this vet! Amazing prices and wonderful staff. Dr. G is fantastic and extremely realistic. I called various vets in the area to get my cat spayed and was quoted prices from $150 to $400. South Seattle Veterinary Hospital quoted me a price that was much more affordable and bellow the other vets' ranges. Then (!) they told me about a coupon in the Value Paks that would save me more $. One of my cats is also having two knee surgeries and the price is extremely competitive. The vet also has great hours and is open weekends and in evenings also. Pros: Easy to find, Great Doctors, Great Prices and Great Staff Cons: Small Parking Spaces more

I will never go to another vet, Their prices are extremely fair, Willing to work with you, Very caring and kind staff, takes the time to explain, Great fallow up calls. what a excellent - dr goraya is...... 10/1/2008

my dog broke his front leg . i was quoted 70000 $ by specialist . it was huge money for us to gather that funds . i took to dr goraya he didnt even charge 1/2 a price of bone plating . my dog is now doing good . he did excellent surgery . he is always available on phone when ever i had any question .staff is so caring & friendly .my dog loves this hospital .i would highly recomm dr goraya for any surgery or even for any regular procedures. try this vet definately u will appreciate . more

We have been using this Vet since our chihuahua broke his arm. Dr. G rocks, the staff is so friendly and caring. We will only use this facility! Oh Yeah, the hours are awesome as well, someone always answers the phone, no matter what time of night! more

The Great Vets in The World 8/22/2008

I have one cat and she loves going to visit Dr. Singh and Dr. G. When we even say "Dr. Singh or Dr. G? they bounce around like they are going to party or something, only they get more excited to visit him than the party!. I can't imagine my cat seeing another vet...they wont! Plus the hospital is very affordable and the whole of the staff is very friendly and caring. My cat feels like home in South Seattle Veterinary Hospital. more

Story of lang morton & lexi 5/14/2008

this is true story of lang morton . i have prostate cancer. my doctor told me that i have only few days left .average life span is 2-4yrs i am in the end of my days,my dog also has spleen tumor (cancer)6lb i tought that if my dog is giong to die i will also die with her. i took to dr goraya in south seattle vet hospital .he removed the spleenic tumor .gave me & my dog lexi some more time . i would highly recommend dr g for any surgery he is excellent surgeon . everyone in this hospital love pets .they are very friendly,commpassionate & caring . more

south seattle vet is best place to take your pet for any surgery .drg is very excellent surgeon. he did patellar luxatin surgery on my dog which was misdiagnosed by other vets . my gizmo is doing good & running around. i would highly recomend this vet for any bone surgery Pros: open 7 days ,good service ,low price more
