I've had better 11/18/2006

The service is slow the food is so smoky I guess to hide the cheap cuts of meat. I like smoky Bones or Jazzy's on Waters Ave better. So does the family more

BBQ on the cheap 11/10/2006

Cheap BBQ - they often have all you can eat for $.$$, but cheap is not always mean good. The meat can be dry (good thing they have the sauces there on the table for you...), not what I consider true, slow cooked BBQ. Sonny's takes a good thing and tried to mass-market it. I prefer the small, out of the way joints that take the time to do it right. Pros: cheap BBQ Cons: dry meat, lacking in flavor more
