I was shaving my legs for years until I decided to look into permanent laser hair removal. I called up Sona and the consultant there went over everything. After going in, the center was clean and everyone there was pleasant. The procedure lasted about an hour and everything was explained in detain from the nurse. I have to be honest, it is a little painful but who says vanity is painless! I got the 3 package deal, which I've already done two, and have already seem results. I highly recommend checking out laser hair removal at Sona of Charlotte for those ladies looking for a more permanent solution to getting rid of unwanted hair. Pros: pleasant atmosphere and explains services in great detail Cons: none that I can think of more

I got a few treatments recently to get ready for the spring and it really works! it took 3 treatments but I lost two inches off my waist so I could fit into last year's bikini. The consultant I spoke with was very helpful and after getting all of the info she explained my realistic results. Most people assume you can just get the procedure done without eating healthy or exercising but that isn't the case. This is for people who eat healthy and take care of themselves but just want to lose those extra few pounds. The staff was very pleasant and got me in and out relatively quick. Pros: very knowledgeable of their procedures and very clean environment more

I think that Sona Medspa is top notch! They are very professional and do excellent work! Just when you walk in the door, you feel relaxed and calm. The work they do is amazing and makes you feel even better about yourself! more

I agree with the other users. I'm going in for my 6th bikini hair removal in a few days and I am still shaving!! I also had several laser treatments on my face for sun damage and my skin looks the same. I did however go to MD Laser in Mooreseville to have a laser face treatment for sun damage and all spots were removed with ONE treatment. MD Laser has actual Doctor's on site! Sona was a waste of money. Pros: Nice Staff Cons: Poor laser results more

I agree with the other users. I'm going in for my 6th bikini hair removal in a few days and I am still shaving!! I also had several laser treatments on my face for sun damage and my skin looks the same. I did however go to MD Laser in Mooreseville to have a laser face treatment for sun damage and all spots were removed with ONE treatment. MD Laser has actual Doctor's on site! Don't expect this to be a fast process. It will take 1.5 years to complete 6 treatments. My first treatment was in June 2006. Now I have had 5 treatments and my 6th one will be in December 2007! I was told that since my skin is not pale white and that I must pay an extra $400 for the YAG laser. I am not black, hispanic, or dark skinnned. I am simply the average caucasion person. I went in there expecting to pay only $500 more or less to have the brazilian bikini laser hair removal treatment. When I arrived they told me that I must pay another $400 because my skin color required the YAG laser. Well...that was a waste of $400 because they only used the YAG laser on me the first treatment and after that...they used the normal laser. A friend of mine and I was going together and having the procedure done at the same time. She was not charged the extra $400 for the YAG laser. She only had to pay the going rate of $500 at that time. Her skin color was not much different than mine. Now I am going for my 6th treatment which is "free" but if I need any more treatments in the future...I was told that I must pay a percentage of the going rate. They advertise "Lifetime" gurantee but how can that be if they are charging clients after the 6th treatment? I was under the impression that all I had to pay was the initial price and the treatments were guranteed. Pros: No waxing or shaving. Cons: YAG laser is a waste of money. After the 6th treatment you must pay! more
