Snafu is a great place to have a drink and watch a sporting event. Drinks specials are always available, the crowd is professional and the staff is friendly. No menu but they let you order in or bring your own. more

Dark, and feels unclean.Had bottled beer...hard to mess that up. Server girls attractive but not hot...but they do dress on the skimpy side, so maybe that is the same as 'hot'. Anyway, they have a pool table and Golden Tee live and some other game but they are placed right by the bathroom door...ugh.\r \r Upstairs the lounge is cozier.but the sofas and chairs don't 'feel' too clean either.\r \r Also, a few guys were smoking by the restroom...seriously...is smoking allowed?? No matter what time of day, or what mood you're in..Snafu has something for everyone..\r it truly is a jack of all trades bar..but in this case...ill call it a Dave of all trades. If you're there \r during the day, then you will have the honor of meeting Dave, the man of many hats. (pun intended)\r Catch a game on one of the many flat screen tv's and ponder the mysteries of life over a few beers, and Dave will leave you wanting more of his heroic tales. One potential downside is the male to female ratio. It can sometimes be a sausage fest in there. But in that case, you can just sit back and enjoy the scantily clad bartenders and waitresses. I was told that Snafu had hot bartenders and cheap drinks by a dude I work with. I was horrified to see what this guy thought of as ""hot"" and ""cheap."" Ok, the drinks aren't expensive, but they are watered down and just plain bad! Maybe he said cheap meaning they gyp you out of liquor. As for the girls behind the bar, they are not at all cute.... and not at all attentive. I went on a Sat. night and there were maybe 8 people in the bar in total, and the bartenders were both talking to a few guys at the end of the bar and did not even seem to notice me and my buddy for about 15 minutes! Then I was told they were out of Guinness, so instead I ordered a Bass which was half full of head. The DJ was playing out-of-place techno music to make matters worse. Also, the bathroom was freaking nasty. DO NOT go to Snafu if you're looking for a good time!! Cons: bad music, bad service, bad smell! more

Snafu is full of B&T's who think they belong in the city. The music is terrible and the people are obnoxious. A total sausage fest, this is an eye-sore for the area. more

so this place is better than the other after work bars in the area (fubar, connolly's), but it's still kinda cruddy. the drinks are reasonably priced, but the crowd is a fairly bland banker group, and the music blows. worst of all, if you try to select better tunes from the jukebox, they get played for 20 seconsd, then get skipped. the best thing that this place has good going for it is the free popcorn. good for an after work drink, but not much else. This bar has something for everyone. There's a lounge area upstairs for the couples, pool tables downstairs, and of course tons of atractive men and women at the main bar for the singles. The bartenders are attractive and attentive-even when it gets packed. Gotta love the fact that you can choose your own tunes in the juke box, but on weekends there's a great dj as well. If you want to take a look at a couple of hot female bartenders, watch a game on TV, or dance on the bar like you're in a scene from the movie Coyote Ugly, then this is the bar for you. The service is good and the patrons (corporate types) have more fun on the bar than next to it. There's a small lounge area upstairs, if you want to suggle with that special someone, or play a game of pool downstairs. What I thought was another nice lounge turned into a big party and I have picture to prove it. Didn't think my Wednesday night would would be spent watching dozens of people dancing on the bar. A good mix of 80s and new hip hop. Crowd thinned out at about 10 making it easier for the party people to move around. Great after-work fun. Pros: Good music, Fun clientelle more

It has finally arrived! A bar that appeals to all! The bar area is great to hang around, drink and and get a groove on. If you just want to relax and talk, you can head over to the upper level, where you'll find a nice little fireplace surrounded by very inviting lounges. Excellent ambience with attractive bartender and scintallating jukebox. The popcorn is a nice relaxed touch to the mellow, post-work feel of this little midtown nugget. A fantastic happy hour location which seems to bring out a refined and upscale clientele - in fact I saw George Clooney and Eyal Hahn sipping martinis in the upper room the other night.
