We stayed for 2 nights and were given the chance to check the room first, We found our room to be clean and well stocked , yes the beds were a little short but for full size beds ...

A nice experience 12/16/2010

We stayed for 2 nights and were given the chance to check the room first, We found our room to be clean and well stocked , yes the beds were a little short but for full size beds they were not that bad ,we were able to get a good nights sleep, yes it is an older Motel and may need some updating , But we were happy with what we had . We would stay here again and by the way, being on the Parkway with a lot of noise from the traffic it was very quiet in the room. And yes parking was very tight,but we were always able to find a spot. more

Next time we visit Pigeon Forge we will stay here 12/8/2010

We arrived in pigeon Forge a day earlier than we had planned. Drove down the parkway and happen to see cheap prices for a room which also accepted pets. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and knew we just came in from Corpus Christi, Texas. She gave us a floor and room with no screaming kids above or below the room nor on the floor we were on. The room was huge with two king size beds, balcony over looking the river with a relaxing sound of the rushing water over the rocks. left the balcony door open and a storm came through in the middle of the night.. Best sleep I had in years. If we didn't make reservations at another hotel for the week; we would of definitely stayed at the Smoky Shadow. more

We look forward to coming back 11/30/2010

We were in pigeon forge for only 2 days but enjoyed our stay at this motel the location was excellent, rooms were reasonable and clean the office personel were polite and gave us a courtesy call after we were in our rooms to see if the rooms were up to our standards we are planning to return to pigeon forge this fall or christmas we will definetely stay here again!! more

We rented a room in the newer part of the hotel, and it was a good experience.. Room was very clean, it had a king size bed, fireplace, jacuzzi and a private balcony with a beautiful view... if it's romantic trip it's even better. They have very nice continental breakfast... I like Smoky Shadows and I will come back!!!!!!!! more

For the price it was good!!!!!! 11/16/2010

We have a business and are unable to leave for long periods of time we normally stay in a pet-friendly cabin but only came up for one night so after staying here before, we called and booked with a very friendly clerk, upon arrival our suite was available we could not get card to work and a very friendly male worker immediately called the housekeeping supervisor and withing 5 minutes we were in our room, when traveling with a pet not all hotels are friendly but this rim was extremely clean, I spoke witht he housekeeping aupervisor and as we spoke she informed me if anything was needed to call immediately, We will stay again very soon, Thanks Smoky Shadows for a wonderful experience!!! more
