Kristen being an alumni of Seattles famed rock star salon VAIN I knew when I stepped in to SIRENS that I was home. I knew when I said I want chunks of pink going through my hair that Kristen knew I didn't want tiger stripes down the top of my head. And when I said I wanted it textured she wasn't going to pull out those chunky scissors. I can't wait for the weather to cool down so I can get extensions again! I started going to Kristin last fall and my hair has never looked better! my extensions always come out amazing and i've never been happier with my hair. She's easy to talk to, fun to be around, and really listens to what you want. I never have to worry about how my hair will turn out after an appointment with her. I used to go to see Kristin in Seattle and now that I'm moving to LA, I can't wait to have my favorite stylist back! Kristin is fun and fabulous, but I'm always most impressed (and grateful for) her knowledge of hair. She really knows what she's doing. She listens to what you want and will go as tame or as wild as you need. I suggest going wilder, because Kristin also provides the best rockstar hair I've seen. You will have a fun time in her chair and even more fun as people stop you on the street to compliment your new 'do. It happened to me, it could happen to you! I used to see Kristin when she worked in Seattle. She would always give me a great cut and color no matter what my mood. I'm a retro girl at heart and if I felt mod, she'd give me a cute 60's shag. I'm always asking for a low maintenance hair cut that will withstand helmet head when I jet through Seattle on my vintage Vespa. She always knows what looks great and what I can handle (did I mention I am low maintenance?!)\r Somedays though I long for the big hair of the 80's and again Kristin delivers with great bold color and awesome rocker style (of course without the Aquanet Super Hold!). \r Now that she's moved to LA, I will still continue to see her. I trust her, I love her creativity and vision and most of all I love the way I feel when I leave her shop. It's going to take a bit more planning but it will be well worth the trip...besides I'm feeling a little new wave and long to try an 80's bi-level bob again. I'm confident it will be one cool cut! Kristin is simply amazing. A total professional who is friendly and knows her craft very well. I always leave the chair feeling a million times better than when I sat down. The atmosphere in Sirens is fantastic. Just off Melrose the space is relaxing, the decor attractive, and the staff friendly I cannot reccomend Sirens highly enough!! I moved to LA 5 years ago and have been searching for a hairdresser I like. I was ecstatic to have found Kristin, she gives perfect, masterful haircuts. She clearly has tons of experience working with all kinds of hair. My hair has truly never looked better. And to top it off she has a great attitude and the salon has an awesome atmosphere. Finally! A salon I can walk into and feel completely comfortable- no snotty Hollywood attitudes. I have awesome rock-star hair every time- no surprises! The stylist listens to me! I don't get left under the dryer, forgotten for an hour, as I have in other salons. I get attention, I get fantastic style, and I get comfort! From extensions, to cuts, to color, I have always left the chair looking awesome. I haven't found anything like this in Hollywood. The prices are great too! I highly recomend Sirens to all of my friends and family. The stylists at Sirens don't disappoint. (Oh! Another plus- they display awesome art by local artists!) more

I've had cool hair from the coolest Salons in Hollywood and Beverly Hills for all of my adult chemically altering hair life, but this place is by far the coolest. Not only is it top notch in service and product , but it is in such a great location. It's cool without being tragically hip and the main mermaid, Kristin, is one of the most knowledgeable and likable gals around. If you want big hair, or crazy colors, you would be a nut not to go here. And don't let the fear of forever scare you-with color extentions, or dreadlock extentions, you can go crazy without any risk. The possibilities are endless. Listen closely and heed the call of the Siren. Pros: Strong in the lost art of actually listening to what you want! Strong skills in service and a great product line. Miss K works miracles...I have been going to see her privately for almost five months now and my hair has never looked better, felt healthier, or been nearly this much fun. Finally I have found someone who can give my hair as much personality as I have. :-) That's what she does best...making your outer beauty match what's inside.
