I received service from Sierra thru my warranty with AHS. The reviews on here scared me, but I ended up having a very positive experience. The woman who called me to schedule my appt was very courteous and seemed knowledable about what she thought might be wrong with my A/C. The technician arrived prompty the following morning. He was professional, kind, and thorough in assessing what was wrong. more

The guy came out right away and fixed my furnace I was pleased. The response time was excellent The company was outstanding and respectful. more

I was very relieved that Sierra Mechanicals were quick to arrive as my son and I both have health issues that make the heat unbearable and we would have had to went to a Hotel if they hadn't had showed up as quickly as they did. The service man explained everything as he went along to my husband. He had exactly what he needed on his truck and therefore got us cooled off as quickly as humanly possible. I am very thankful that AHS understood and was sympathetic to our situation and especially with this happening on a Sunday. more

My air conditioner went out overnight on Friday. I called first thing in the morning on Saturday and the vendor was in our house by 10:30am and we were repaired and cooling down within the hour. more

We had a great experience with Sierra Mechanical. We were referred to them by our home warranty company on a Friday afternoon. They were able to come out within four hours and fixed our unit. The A/C ended up having another problem (not related to the first) overnight. I called them first thing on Saturday morning and they came out that afternoon. It is completely fixed and working better than ever. I recommend this company for their office customer service and repairman customer service. more

WOULDN'T WISH THEM ON MY WORST ENEMY. Fought with customer service almost daily about delays in service, missed appointments and bad attitudes. Unfortunately, I like most other people HAD to use them in order to have the repairs covered under our home warranty. We had to wait over three weeks to get functioning A/C during 110 degree days. I had to keep my dog at a relative's house because I was afraid she would die if left at home in the heat. They had no sympathy; their customer ""service"" was deplorable. Don't even waste your time on these clowns. more

Bad experience! We had to use them because of our home protection plan. They called me 2 days after I contacted my insurance company and scheduled to come out the following day. They gave me a window from 9 a.m. to 1. My husband worked from home in order to wait for them. When they didn't show up by 3, I called and let her know it was now 2 hours after they were supposed to arrive and she said he was running late and would be there in an hour. A call would have been nice. Around 4:30 no one had shown up so I called again. The ladies in the office are very nice but don't seem to have much concern for the frustration. She said he's been dealing with nightmares all day and would be there soon. I let the lady know that we have company coming at 6 so we need to get this done by the time our friends are coming over. He arrived at quarter after 5. Said our unit needs cleaned and it's going to cost $80 (and all they do is take it apart and spray it out). Then he proceeded to talk on the phone for 45 minutes. No wonder he was soo late. He claimed it was his boss. If their bosses make a habit of keeping them on the phone that's not very professional. He was back on his phone for a long time again and not working. It is now 7 pm and it doesn't seem he is very far along. We had to delay our company coming over until 7 and now they are to arrive any minute and I still have someone here working on the ac, which I told her I didn't want to happen. She assured me he would be done by 6!! I'm incredibly displeased by this experience! more

BAD BAD Company...Avoid!!! Unfortunately because of the home owners warranty we have had to deal with these people now 2 weeks of the hottest temperatures on record and they have still not fixed our unit. They have told us the part is on back order and now they are telling the insurance company something different!!! more

I agree with all the negative posts on this company. I had the great misfortune of dealing with them. more

I wish there was a negative star with to rate this place. This place does not stand behind their work or the Warranties of the products they install. They also GOUGE you for labor that's to be included in the recall of a part. They will also have your info from previous work, only to misplace it when the time seems right for it to benefit them, ie on warranties or recalls. SHOP AROUND and do not go to with this company, if you do not trust what I say then call and see how wonderful the CUSTOMER SERVICE is over the phone! You have been warned. THIS PLACE STINKS!!!!!!!!! more
