refrigerator/freezer trouble 6/27/2014

Icemaker was making half-$@!#% ice, called Lowe's for a recommended repairman. By the grace of God they recommended SERVICECARE. the staff were beyond friendly & the tech I talked to answered all my questions and tried to resolve over phone. He made an appointment 2 days later (I had called someone else and got one week). Rick called on appointment day and said it would be 15-20 minutes, he showed up in 15. Rick diagnosed, explained, and fixed the problem in less than a hour. Parts were on the truck so no "I have to order, see you in 2 weeks". Rick gets 10 STARS and I hope I never have to use SERVICE CARE again but I have you guys on "SPEED DIAL" if I do! GREAT WORK!!!! more

Joe was here 15 to 20 minutes. The Samsung was not fixed. Brackets i asked to be sent to fix the upper basket(he oviously did not reade the ticket) because he had no clue what they were. Joe called... 8/5/2013

Tech: Joe Invoice # 300801 Deposit: $85(no repair) Date : Aug 1 Called back Aug 2 with inflated prices. RESPONSE FROM Service Care, Inc.: I read this review and looked into this repair, and I believe there is confusion about our estimate that I would like to clear up. According to our GPS logs, Joe was at the customer's location for 33 minutes (that's about average for an inspection and diagnosis of an appliance). The tech did not bring the parts the customer asked for, but most likely he was unable to determine which parts were needed by the customer's description over the phone. That's not unusual. The prices Joe provided would have included the diagnostic, labor and parts and tax, not just the parts. We do not sell parts to the public, so he would have quoted a price that included installation and everything else. The "CE" code that indicates a Thermistor problem is for a washer. There is no "CE" error code listed for their dishwasher in customer documentation or any other source I could find online. My experience with Service Care was excellent. The technicians who came to our house were polite, on time, knowledgeable, thorough, and completely fixed the problem in a timely manner. Technician was very polite and nice but seemed stressed about how long the job would take plus I was told when scheduling that he would be out between 9-12. He didn't arrive until 12 and I had to leave around 2:45. The technician needed help getting my range back in place so it is still not in the original position plus the rubber gasket was torn and mangled. Not a satisfactory job. more
