I was there on 2-7-12 to have an oil change for my new 2011 Lexus. At first, this dumb manager (his name is BOB) has no manner and no customer service. He didn't greet his customer or at least say hi. He typed his things in the computer and said the oil change is going to be close to $100.00. He said the reason is the car is new and its needs good oil. I told him, i've never paid even $50 in all my times of driving (25 yrs) for an oil change. He said the price already discounted. I have been a long time customer at Sears Auto in Brandon FL I always get excellent service and will continue to get all of my vehicles serviced there. On my last visit the service writer reminded me of some recomended services I had skipped and was able to get me caught up and keep my car on the road. more

I was waiting to get my oil changed for my car that I bought from DriveTime, and I have to go to Sears to get my oil changed because I get 3 free oil changes a year. They had my car up on the ramp along with another lady's car on the ramp next to mine, and the idiots working there backed both of our cars out at the same time and crashed them into each other. All I got was a free oil change (which I already get free oil changes) and I was livid to see that the manager did not discipline his employees. While the damage doesn't seem to be all that bad, it is the simple fact that not only have I never been in any kind of collision myself, but that a simple oil change has now turned into a huge inconvenience. As everyone else seems to be saying on here, I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GO TO THIS SEARS AUTO CENTER! more

I have been going to the Sears Auto Center at the brandon mall for years, their sales staff is knowlegeable and the mechanics do great work. Most recently I bought a set of tires there and they matched the price of a competitor to keep my business. more

I will say, that Sears Brandon Town Center does good work. However, when you go there, you should watch what your charged for. They will automatically put road hazard on your tires, also watch your labor costs because if (for instance) you're getting your oil changed and you need a new oil pan gasket, they will double up on you. If you say somethough, they will take one off though. Just be aware of what is on you're bill. more

I would like to start by saying that Sears USED to be a good name brand and when I was young we did everything at Sears. OH how times have changed. On 10/27/2010 I had my Nissan 4cylinder frontier towed into the Automotive Center at the Brandon town center. The car wouldnt start and was acting like a battery problem. Even the tow truck driver checked it and said it was the cellenoid or battery. So I got there and 2 hours later they dsai it was the alternator and they would get one from down the street at auto zone for retail and charge me up and over that. Long story short I end up paying $340 dollars for an alternator, recharge of my battery and new cable, because they other one was loose. Plus I had to pay $65 for the tow. It has been 2 week and its 11/13/2010 and my car wont start in my garage. Called National Customer Relations at 800-549-4505. They emailed manager and I have yet to see what they are gonna do with my car. This place is like a used car lot where they have shady people walking around trying to sell you something. I probably didnt even need an alternator. DONT GO HERE!! more

I have made the mistake of coming here too many times. Not anymore. The final straw for me was a back in July when I brought my car in for a flat tire replacement, waited 3 hours (I was told only 45 mins) and they replaced the wrong tire! The customer service reps and manager are extremely unfriendly & are very lazy. If the line gets long, the manager and other sales reps don't even bother to open the other register to help get the line down, they walk by and pretend not to see anything. I reported all this to the head manager of Sears and the automotive manager and they gave me a whopping 10% off. They are worthless! On another occasion, My little 89 year old grandmother was kicked out of Sears when she was there getting her battery replaced because she walked into the garage. I will never come here again! Total rip off and they are not honest. Go to P&M Automotive very honest and are christians. I brought my car to Sears to get the windshield wiper fixed on the drivers' side. They offered to fix it for 28.00, and I agreed, as it was a great deal! I gave them my keys, and they said that the car will be done in about a half an hour to an hour. It was 1:50pm. Pros: They offered a good price. Cons: The staff are unhelpful, unprofessional, just don't care. more

They told me my brakes were so bad the rotors needed replacing, and even said one of my rotors was cracked. Total for repair $411. Pros: It's at the mall so you can shop while they rip you off. Cons: Dishonest salesmen. more
