Eric has been doing my hair for the past year now and has done a great job correcting a really horrible cut from another stylist. Eric is professional and has great insight to feasible styles. His highlights and low lights are great too. more

I was looking for a new stylist/colorist and I basically want it all. Close to home, rich with color over stubborn gray roots, takes to notice patterns with my ultra-thick hair prior to lifting the scissors, easygoing, fun, listens to my lifestyle, has ideas instead of just asking me what I want, doesn't insist his ideas are a must. While I've only visited once, I think I've found it all in Eric Saranto. Will go back. Am delighted. more

They say, If you look good, you will feel great. Well, after seeing Eric I have never felt better about myself! It's amazing what a fabulous hair style can do for your self image! I was in the market for a new stylist. I had been going to Gene Juarez but was tired of feeling like a cog in an assembly line - moving from one station to the next. I read reviews about Eric's salon on CitySearch and decided to try it out. Right away, I knew this was the place for me. Eric is very personable, engaging and has style. I wasn't quite sure what I wanted for my haircut/color and decided to leave it up to him. The color is perfection and the cut is fun and very now. I am very pleased and will be a repeat customer! I've been going to Eric for my hair for over 4 years now. I'm quite picky and notice details, and so does he, so you always get a great hair cut. He's the only one I've ever gone back to get my bangs trimmed because he never cuts them too short or funky. He is just all around awesome! He'll do exactly what you ask or he'll give you his opinion if you ask and turn him loose; either way you're never disappointed. His salon is easy to get to and there's always free parking. It's a great place to relax, get your hair cut, and if you're lucky, have a glass of wine! I hope he never leaves Seattle!! well, i spell it 'genius' but if i was a bad speller, i'd spell it 'eric sarantos'. simply put, what everyone else wrote is 100% dead on and true. his shop is easy to find and has plenty of parking. it's light and airy. he plays great music while he's cutting your hair. there isn't an ounce of pretention in him. and he knows what he's doing! to be honest, i've only seen him once but i have already declared that this very well might be the best cut i've ever had. i went there to have him fix a bad haircut which he was able to do, yet he also somehow managed to keep my hair length. he takes his time but doesn't take forever, and maggie the puppy just makes things in the shop even more fun. i don't know if curly hair is his specialty but if you have curls, go see eric. you won't walk out unhappy more

if he was in L.A., he would charge $500 bucks for a cut and color and there would be a massive line up to get it: he makes anyone look fantastic. He loves what he does, and it shows. I went to him after someone in my office, with long, plain hair, went to him and came back looking seriously gorgeous. So I went, and it was the best hair cut of my life. I finally, in my mid thirties, had an actual style. All I said to him before he cut was please just leave it just long enough for a pony tail as I had a toddler who grabbed my hair. Unlike some snobby hairstylists who roll their eyes and act really snotty, he said cool, absolutely, we will make you beautiful. And he did - I then got two other ladies from my office to see him (one with tragic color - he fixed it, and the other with awful hair - he made it beautiful and age appropriate). So go see Eric, and tell him Gail sent you. He has a little tiny french bulldog named maggie who hangs out, and, he has just the nicest attitude along with his golden talent - you won't be disappointed. A price for a cut varies, my latest hair cut (yes, I am now a loyal customer) cost $65. His hours are flexible, and there is parking right in front of his little shop. Feel free to bring your baby or small dog (my mom brought in her poodle and Eric was cool with that). His is a small but airy shop with just him presiding and lots of high quality hair product for sale including curling irons, shampoos, etc. No other stylist is there - so he takes his time with you and it is not rushed or snooty. Very relaxed and good karma. And you walk out very gorgeous... and his hair cuts seem to last longer than most. All great Pros: Amazing talent, reasonable prices, not rushed more

Sarantos has a comfortable atmosphere. Eric is wonderful at what he does and knows what he's doing. He does fabulous coloring and his cuts are perfection. This is the best salon I have ever been to and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for someone to trust there hair with. more

I was referred to Eric by one of my closest friends. He is very creative and genuinely loves his work. They have their warning posted in the salon and Eric definitely lived up to it.
